March 12, 2009 Seattle Cotton Works Hooded Sweatshirts with Drawstrings Recalled Due to Strangulation Hazard

The hooded, long sleeve sweatshirts have full-length zippers and drawstrings along the neck line. The products are sold under the Seattle Cotton Works brand in six different designs. February 4, 2009 Children's Hooded Sweatshirts Recalled by Jerry Leigh of California Due to Strangulation Hazard

This recall involves the Harajuku Lovers Hooded Jackets with the RSL Hoodie & Lovers Leopard styles. The RSL Hoodie style has numerous pictures of girls riding motor scooters and the words “ready steady love” printed on it. The Lovers Leopard style has a leopard design in grey and black.“Harajuku Lovers” is printed on a tag sawn next to the care label. Read more.


January 22, 2009 Mad Dog Concepts Recalls Boy's Pajamas Due to Burn Hazard

The recall involves the following skateboard-themed boy’s pajama sets: “Boards Estate” (item # TH005LSB), “Heathen Skull” (item #TH006BSB), “Backspray” (item #TH007GSB) and “Stix Jester” (item #TH008RSB). The name of the product and item number are sewn in the neck and pant. The items were sold in sizes 4 to 14. Read more.


January 12, 2009 Rashti & Rashti Expands Recall of Infant Garments Due to Choking Hazard

The July 2008 recall involved two Taggies™ Sleep ‘n Play style infant garments: the Butterfly Applique' and the Fun Dog Print. Subsequent to the recall, two additional Taggies Sleep ‘n Play styles, manufactured before July 1, 2008, were identified as also having snap issues. The recall has now been expanded to involve the Dinosaur Applique' and the Pink Toss Print styles. The infant garments are one piece footed coveralls with snaps down the front. These garments were sold in sizes 0-3 months, 3-6 months, and 6-9 months. RN #27829 is printed on the care label sewn into the garment. Style numbers are printed on the hangtag of the garments. January 6, 2009 Children's Hooded Jackets with Drawstrings Recalled by Ms. Bubbles Inc. Due to Strangulation Hazard

The recalled blue denim jackets have a white terrycloth underlay lining and drawstring. The jackets were sold in children’s sizes medium (7-10), large (11-14) and x-large (15-16). Style numbers BF1400 K and BF1400 KP are printed on the hang tag attached to the garment. Read more.


December 30, 2008 Boys Reversible Vests Recalled by Bon-Ton Stores Due to Choking Hazard

This recall involves the “Ruff Hewn” reversible vests for boys sold in toddler (style # F821235) and 4 through 7 sizes (style # F841235). The vests are brown and reverse to a camouflage print. “Ruff Hewn” is printed on the tag found in the left pocket of the brown side and on the price tag. The style number is printed on the price tag. December 4, 2008 Meijer Inc. Recalls Toddler Girl's Hat and Mitten Sets Due to Choking Hazard

The recalled hats and mittens have two magnets sewn into each side of the hat and are cotton with pink, lavender, orange and aqua green stripes and various prints. Some of the hat and mittens have dark pink hearts with light pink stripes. “Aquarius LTD” is printed on the tag of the hat and mitten sets. Read more.


November 25, 2008 JCPenney Recalls Arizona® Newborn and Infant Pants Due to Choking Hazard

The recall involves Arizona® brand newborn and infant girl’s and boy’s denim pants. They were sold in sizes 0-3 months, 3-6 months and 6-9 months. Only those pants made in Bangladesh are affected; pants made in China are not included in the recall. The country of origin is located on a label sewn into the waistband. Read more.
