December 16, 2009- Timberland Recalls Children's Boots Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard
This recall involves children’s Timberland 6” Classic Scuffproof boots. The boots are wheat-colored leather and were sold in toddler size 4 through junior size 7. Model and manufacturer/date code numbers included in this recall are listed below. The model and manufacturer date code numbers are printed below the size on a white tag inside the boots. September 17, 2009- Clarks Children's Shoes Recalled by C & J Clark America Due to Choking Hazard
This recall involves Clarks® children’s shoes sold under the “crawlers” and “hazy daze” style names. The crawlers were sold in infant sizes 2 to 3 1/2; and the hazy daze in sizes 4 to 6 1/2. “Clarks” is printed on the sole underneath the heel and the words “Clarks First Shoes” is printed on a multi-colored label inside the shoe’s heel area. This recall involves the Buster Brown & Co. clog children’s shoes with model or retail numbers listed below. These shoes are a plastic molded EVA “water” clog and are designed to resemble a car. The shoes are red, brown, blue, yellow, and pink and most shoes bear the words “CARS,” “Transformers Animated,” or “Barbie.” “Buster Brown & Co.™” is printed on the shoe inside at the heel, on a sewn-in tag inside the fleece-lined shoe, and on the original hang tag. The model or retail number can also be found on these tags. The shoes were sold in children sizes 5 to 13 and youth sizes 1-3. July 14, 2009- Rossignol Recalls Cross-Country Boots Due to Fall Hazard
This recall involves Rossignol cross-country boots with model X-IUM World Cup Skate, X-IUM World Cup Classic, X-IUM World Cup Pursuit, X-11 Skate, and X-IUM J Skate. The model name is printed on the upper part of the boot. Boots included in this recall have a 5 or 6 digit lot number stamped on the right boot under the removable insole (see photo below). July 7, 2009- Women's Shoes Recalled by Charles David Due to Fall Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack
The recall involves various colors and styles of Charles by Charles David brand (item #SAMPCHSHOE) and Charles David of California brand (item #SAMPCDSHOE) women’s sample shoes. The shoes were sold in women’s sizes 7 and 9. The item number can be located on the original receipt. April 9, 2009- Women's Shoes Recalled by Wal-Mart Due to Fall Hazard
This recall involves women’s sling-back, pointed-toe shoes sold under the George brand. The shoes were sold in three colors, black, grey and purple, and in sizes 5 ½ to 11. This recall involves the Buster Brown & Co. “CARS” fleece clog children’s shoes. The shoe is a red plastic molded clog with fleece lining and is designed to resemble a car. They were sold in infant sizes 4 to 6 and toddler sizes 7 to 11. The infant-size shoes have a strap in the back. Each side of the shoe has two red and black decorative wheels and the number “95”. “Buster Brown & Co.” and “Disney” are printed on a tag sewn inside the shoe. March 17, 2009- Nordstrom Recalls Girl's Shoes Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard
The recall includes six styles of Nordstrom-brand shoes for girls. “Clarice-Fab” flats are bone colored with a bow. “Eva-Fab” are bone colored T-strap sandals. “Fern-Fab” are ankle strap sandals sold in bone, pink, white, blue polka-dot or pink polka-dot. “Lilly-Fab” are fuchsia gingham ballerina flats with a bow. “Rita-Fab” are ankle strap dress shoes sold in ivory linen, pink linen, white linen, cafe satin, silver satin or white satin. “Vivi-Fab” are open-toe dress shoes in bone, white, green polka-dot, lavender polka-dot or yellow polka-dot. The shoes were sold in girls’ sizes 10 through big-kids 7. All shoes have an embossed “NORDSTROM” printed on the insole. Only the colors identified above are subject to the recall. March 3, 2009- Children's Flip Flops Recalled by Alpargatas Due to Violation of Lead in Paint Standard
Flip flops of the Havaianas brand containing decorative paint were sold under the following model names: Baby Estampas, Baby Pets, Kids Apple, Kids Fairy, Kids Flores, Kids Lighthouse, Kids Monsters, Kids Surf, Baby Letrinhas, Kids Sports, Kids Candies, Kids Fun, Kids Love, Kids Sereias, Kids Speed, Kids Lucky Bug, Kids Pets, Kids Rock, Kids Slim, Kids Wonder Woman, Kids Small Flowers and Kids Tropical w/Kit. A photo of a representative flip flop is provided below. Havaianas flip flops without decorative paint are not being recalled. January 29, 2009- L.L. Bean Recalls Ice Cleats Used During Winter Weather Due to Fall Hazard
This recall involves Stabilicers Lite cleats with model number BNX9. The cleats are worn over footwear for traction in winter walking conditions. The recalled cleats were sold in blue, orange, and pink. Black Stabilicers Lite cleats are not included in this recall. The cleats were sold in sizes small through extra large. The name Stabilicers Lite appears in raised letters on the underside of the harness. |
