March 18, 2010- Lumetique Recalls Botanika Candles Due to Fire and Laceration Hazards
This recall involves DayNa Decker Botanika brand candles sold in 3-, 6-, and 16-ounce glass containers. The words "DayNa Decker" and Bacara, Bardou, Clementine, Indigo, Leila, Manzanita, Sierra, Taiga, Violetta, Viva, Yasmin, or Zelia appear on the bottom of the green glass container. Only Botanika candles with batch code 9J3, 9K1, 9L1 or 9L2 are included in the recall. Batch codes are printed on the bottom of the glass container. This recall involves two styles of tea lights. A clear box of 24 silver glitter tea lights with SKU 2410335 and a clear box of 24 gold glitter tea lights with SKU 2410322. The SKU number is located on the bottom of the packaging. January 14, 2010- Pier 1 Imports Recalls Santa Tea Light Holders Due to Fire Hazard
The Ceramic Santa Tea Light Holder is red and white and designed in the image of Santa Claus. The tea light holder measures approximately 7-1/2 inches tall and 3-1/2 inches wide with a red metal hat and an opening in the back to place a tea light candle. SKU number 2417274 is printed on the bottom of the tea light holder. October 21, 2009- Haunted House Screen Candle Holders Recalled by Coyne's & Co. Due to Fire Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Yankee Candle
This recall involves haunted house screen tea light holders made of black metal with a transparent coating on the glass windows. The haunted house measures 15-inches wide by 15-inches high by 4-inches deep and can hold up to six tea lights. Tea light candles are not involved in this recall. The recalled candles were sold under the DayNa Decker “Botanika” brand in 16 ounce green glass vessels, 4 inches wide by 5 inches high. Botanika candles in the smaller 3 ounce and 6 ounce sizes are not included in the recall. The words “DayNa Decker” and “Bacara,” “Bardou,” “Clementine,” “Indigo,” “Leila,” “Manzanita,” “Sierra,” “Violetta,” “Yasmin” or “Zelia” appear on the bottom of the glass vessel. March 3, 2009- Seventh Avenue Recalls Tealight Candleholders Due to Fire Hazard
This recall involves a wire formed tealight candleholder with ball feet. The sides have small and large round resin accents in amber and red. The holder holds up to five tealight candles (included). The model number is 609073 located on the original packaging. December 23, 2008- Gardener's Supply Company Recalls Candle-Powered Carousels Due to Fire Hazard
The recalled candle carousels are made of yellow pine and stainless steel and measure about 9 inches in diameter by 13 inches high. The candle measures about 4 inches high. The candle carousels generate heat which rotate the fan blade and can cause the center platform to spin. The carousel is made of wood with cutouts of trees and deer. November 20, 2008- Candela Recalls Candles Due to Fire and Burn Hazards; Sold Exclusively at Anthropologie Stores
This recall involves Anthropologie tin candles. The candles were sold in the following four fragrances; Amber Woods - Model #14987044, Black Lilac - Model #14987093, Figue Tree - Model #14987085 and Red Currant – Model #14987051. Candles sold after October 11, 2008 are not affected by this recall. October 29, 2008- Ghost Tealight Holders Recalled by Trade Associates Group and Crate & Barrel Due to Fire and Burn Hazard
The recalled product is a metal tealight candle holder in the shape of ghost. The product is white with a black base. They were sold by Crate & Barrel as a set of 3 (SKU #370-846 and/or Catalog Item #X2006) and by other retailers as individual units (SKU #770123). The SKU can be located on the product’s packaging. September 3, 2008- Pendants and Candle Charms Recalled Due to Risk of Lead Exposure
The recalled pewter pendants were sold in a collection of 12 pendants. The pendants were sold separately and on candles of various colors and scents. |
