The recalled Fireplace in a Box kit includes a 2.5-inch high by 2.5-inch wide plastic fireplace that resembles stone masonry with a black mantle, a tea light candle to fit inside the fireplace, and a small booklet "Fireplace in a Box." "Fireplace in a Box," "Mega Mini Kits," and "ISBN 0-7624-1603-3" is printed on the fireplace's packaging. April 18, 2006- Nordstrom Inc. Recalls Egg-Shaped Candle Holders for Fire Hazard
The recalled product is an egg-shaped tea light candle holder sold under style numbers 2C0755A, 2C0755B, and 2C0755C. The tea light holder came in the colors sky blue, pool blue and lavender. Both the style number and the color can be found on a sticker at the bottom of the candle holder. March 1, 2006- Big Lots Stores Inc. Recall Tea Light Candles for Fire Hazard
The recalled red tea light candles are apple scented and have the brand name "Harvest" on the front packaging. Item number A5023 is written on the bottom of the packaging. The candles were sold in sets of six candles per package. The tea light candles measure 1½-inches wide by ¾-inch high. Each of the candles comes in a plastic holder. This recall involves the Old Taylor Estate Candelier with item number 40697 (the item number is located on one side and the top of each box). The chandeliers have eight glass votive candle holders. The candles measure about 3-inches in diameter and come in two sizes – 3-inches and 6-inches high. Each candle has a black paint coating and has eight diamond-like ornaments at evenly spaced points approximately 1-inch from the candle's bottom edge. They are packaged in clear plastic wrapping which is tied at the top with a ribbon. One recalled candle gift set includes three birch bark-covered candles. Each candle measures 3 inches wide but vary in height from 3 to 6 inches. The candles are displayed on a stand with pine cones, cinnamon sticks and red berries. The second recalled candle gift set includes a display stand with three pyramid-shaped candles varying in height from 8 to 12 inches. The candles are either blue with a silver glitter criss-cross pattern or red with a gold glitter criss-cross pattern. Both candle sets were sold under the Holiday Time™ brand name written on the box. |
