June 13, 2006- Herrington Swivel Rockers Sold at Lowe's Stores Recalled for Fall Hazard
The rocker is part of the Herrington collection of patio furniture. The rocker is dark brown with a brown cloth seat, has a swivel base and a cut out pattern on the metal backrest. The item number, 119178, is printed on the rocker's packaging and on the assembly instructions. The rocker came in two sections, a base and a seat, and customers were required to bolt the seat to the base. April 11, 2006- Tropitone Recalls "Impressions Side Chair" for Fall Hazard
The Tropitone Impressions Side Chair is an armless chair that can be used indoors or outdoors and comes in any one of three seat types (strap, patterned aluminum and a tight seat) and three back styles (boulevard, prism and vision). The chairs are available in multiple finishes. Replacement versions of these chairs are also included in this recall. March 22, 2006- Rocking Chairs Sold at Wal-Mart Recalled for Fall Hazard
The recall involves three models of rocking chairs, the Mainstays Love Seat Rocker (Model IT-13380) and the Mainstays Porch Rocker (Model IT-13379 and IT-13270). The Love Seat Rocker is wooden, white and seats two persons. The back support frame and the seat are made of slats. "Made in China" is printed on a sticker under the seat. The wooden Porch Rocker is sold in white and "natural" (light brown) color and seats only one person. "Made in Indonesia" is printed on a sticker under the Porch Rocker's seat. They sit on curved runners. The model number is printed on the rocker's packaging. August 18, 2005- Whittier Wood Products Recall of Pub Stools
The stool is marketed under the brand name of GardenWood Furniture. The recalled pub stools include the Chelsea Pub Stools model numbers 986W and 986KFRS as indicated on the outside of the box.. Both stools are constructed with wood legs, seats, and back-rests. Seat height is 30 inches and was sold both unfinished (W) as well as in a clear, penetrating oil finish (KFRS). Units with Lot code #06222005 are not affected by this recall. July 27, 2005- Fourstar Group Recall to Repair Kid's Folding Chairs
The recalled kid's folding chairs are made of metal tubing with a vinyl padded seat and seat back. They were sold in red, blue, yellow, green, pink, and lavender solid colors. They also come in pink with "Princess" printed in red on the seat and seat back along with stars, crowns and hearts, or in blue with pictures of basketballs, soccer balls, footballs, football helmets, and rollerblades. The recalled chairs were sold individually or as part of a set consisting of a table and two chairs. Each chair is about 22-inches high, 13.5-inches wide, and about 11.5-inches deep. "MANUFACTURED BY FOURSTAR GROUP INC." OR "IMPORTED BY FOURSTAR INTERNATIONAL TRADING COMPANY" is written on a label located underneath the seat of the chairs. July 27, 2005- Idea Nuova Inc. Recall to Repair Children's Folding Chairs
The recalled children's folding chairs are made of metal tubing with a vinyl padded seat and seat back. They were sold with the following designs: "Monkey Moods" a monkey with stars, "Rock n Roll" with a monkey playing a guitar, "Princess" with pink flowers and a crown, "Sport" with a football, basketball and soccer ball, "Training Camp" with frogs, "Rainbow Angel" with clouds, rainbows and stars, Spiderman®, and Disney® Princess. The recalled chairs were sold as part of a set consisting of a table and two chairs. Each chair is about 22-inches high, 13 inches wide, and about 11 inches deep. "Idea Nuova Inc." or "I.N.I." is printed on a label located underneath the seat of the chairs. July 27, 2005- Meco Corp. Recall of Children’s Folding Chairs
: The recalled children’s folding chairs have safety locks under the seat. The chairs are made of metal tubing with a vinyl padded seat and seat back. They were sold in red, blue, yellow and green colors as a part of a set consisting of a table and four chairs. Each chair is about 22-inches high, 10-inches wide, and about 11-inches deep. “Meco” or “Samsonite” is printed on the label underneath the seat bottom. April 6, 2005- L.L. Bean Inc. Recall of Director's Chairs, Replacement Seats
The recalled director's chair is a folding chair with a solid natural-colored wood frame. They have cotton duck fabric seats and backs in navy, red, green and natural colors. The seats are padded and unpadded, and replacement padded seats were sold separately. The director's chair measures 34-inches-high, 24-inches-wide and 19-inches-deep with an 18-inch seat height. The replacement padded seats are navy red, green and natural canvas.
