July 1, 2009- Intermatic Recalls In-Wall Timers Due to Shock Hazard
This recall involves the Intermatic in-wall electronic timers with model numbers ST01, ST01C, ST01AC, ST01AC70, ST01C70, ST01CL, EI600C, EI600LAC, EI600LAC8, EI600WC, and EI600WC8. This product is a lamp and appliance timer and typically takes the place of a standard wall switch. The timer is white, off-white, or almond and measures 2 1/2 inches high by 1 3/4 inches wide. Model numbers can be found on the packaging and on the instruction. In-Wall timers are included in this recall if (1) the brand name “Intermatic” is molded on the front of the timer cover door, (2) the timer has only four keypad buttons, and (3) there is no 3-digit date code (e.g. “04C”) stamped on the inside of the timer cover door. Timers with a 3-digit date code (e.g. “04C”) stamped on the inside of the timer cover door are not included in this recall. February 5, 2009- Intermatic Recalls Digital Timers Due to Shock Hazard
The recalled Intermatic DT17 heavy-duty digital timers are lamp and appliance timers. They were packaged as the “DT17C Heavy Duty Digital Timer” and the “DT17C8 Heavy Duty Digital Timer.” The timer is white-colored and measures 3 3/8” tall x 2 5/8” wide x 1 5/8” deep. Only products with date codes of “40Z” through “52Z” or date codes ending in “A,” “B” or “C” are included in the recall. The brand name “Intermatic” is molded on the front of the timer, and the model number (“DT17”) and date code are printed on the back of the timer. January 9, 2008- Intermatic Recalls Digital Timers Due to Electrical Shock Hazard
This recall involves the Intermatic DT27 digital self-adjusting timer with a date code of “04B.” This product is a lamp and appliance timer and is packaged as either the “DT27C Heavy Duty Digital Timer” or the “DT27CL Time All® Digital Lamp and Appliance Self-Adjusting Timer.” The timer is white with a rounded top, and measures 3 7/8” tall by 2 3/4” wide by 1 5/8” deep. The brand name “Intermatic” is molded on the front of the timer, and the model number (“DT27”) and date code (“04B”) are printed on the back of the timer.
