April 19, 2012 Irwin Recalls 10-Inch Circular Saw Blade 3-Pack Due to Laceration Hazard Posed by Defective Packaging

This recall involves Irwin Classic Series 10-inch Circular Saw Blade Limited Promotion 3-Packs. The blister packs contain one 10-inch trim and finish saw blade with 60 teeth (60T) and two 10-inch general purpose saw blades with 40 teeth (40T). The blades are stacked offset in the packs. The packaging is blue, orange and yellow and has the words “Irwin” and “Classic Series” on the front top left corner and “3 Circular Saw Blades” on the front lower left corner. January 13, 2009 Ryobi Corded Circular Saws Sold Exclusively at Home Depot Recalled By One World Technologies Inc. Due to Laceration Hazard

This recall involves Ryobi corded circular saws with the following model numbers: CSB123, CSB133L, and CSB142LZ. Circular saws included in this recall have manufacturing date codes between 0836 and 0842 on the data plate near the trigger handle of the saw. Circular saws with a green dot on or near the data plate and on the outside of the package are not subject to this recall. Read more.

April 5, 2007 Sears Warns Consumers to Remove Label from Craftsman Circular Saws, Obstructed Blade Guard Poses Laceration Hazard

The recall involves a 7-1/4-inch circular saw. The model numbers included are: 172.108550, 172.108560, 172.108650, and 172.108660. The model number is located on the circular saw's upper motor housing. Model numbers 172.108560 and 172.108650 have a gray body housing and a gray blade guard. Model numbers 172.108550 and 172.108660 have a black body housing and a gray blade guard. "Craftsman" is written on the label on the upper blade guard. Read more.


November 8, 2006 DeWalt Recalls Framing Saws and Circular Saws for Laceration Hazard

This recall involves DeWalt DW378G and DW378GT 7 ¼-inch framing saws with date codes 200301-49 through 200637-49. The model numbers for the framing saws are located on the side of the housing. The date code is located either on the name plate or under the handle near the power cord exit. Circular saws involved in this recall have model number DC300 with date codes 200601-49 through 200637-49. The model number on the circular saw is located on the name plate on the top of the motor housing. The date code on the circular saw is located on the underside of the motor housing. Framing saws marked with a "V" on the underside of the handle near the cord set and circular saws marked with a "V" on the underside of the motor housing or under the handle where the battery is inserted have already been repaired and are not involved in this recall. The recall involves Porter-Cable® 7¼-inch MAG-Saw™ Circular Saws with model numbers 324MAG (serial numbers 10001through 108962), 325MAG (serial numbers 10001through 014712), 423MAG (serial numbers 10001through 100371), and 424MAG (serial numbers 10001through 012690). The model and serial numbers are located on a label on the top of the saws. Units marked with a "T" at the location shown below have been inspected and are not affected by this recall. May 18, 2005 Robert Bosch Tool Corp. Recall of Circular Saws

The recall circular saws include the BOSCH CS10, CS20 and CS20-XC models, which can be identified on the product nameplate mounted on the top of the motor housing. The recalled models do not have an asterisk (*) in the serial number box. The circular saw uses a 7¼-inch blade and has a blue handle and motor enclosure, and a metal guarding system.
