January 6, 2011 ITT Water Technology Recalls Pumps Due to Electric Shock/Electrocution Hazard

The recall involves Goulds, Red Jacket and Bell & Gossett Pumps used in residential applications to pump wastewater and sewage. The pumps are sky blue or red and display the brand names Goulds, Red Jacket or Bell & Gossett. February 18, 2010 Motor Controllers for Submersible Pump Systems Recalled by Franklin Electric Due to Shock Hazard

This recall involves the Pumptec electronic motor controller for 115v/230v submersible motors rated 1/3 to 1 1/2 HP with model number 5800020600 and date codes of 06F45 through 09L45. The model number and date code can be found on the nameplate label located on the right-hand side of the enclosure. Read more.


February 14, 2007 Zoeller Pump Co. Recalls Septic Pumps Due to Shock Hazard

The recalled Zoeller brand septic pumps have a 20-foot black cord with a plug. The pumps have date codes 0906 and 1006. On models 53, 57, 151, 152 and 153 the date code is printed on the nameplate on the top of the pump. On Model WM48 the date code is printed on the tag near the plug.
