July 26, 2010- Brine Recalls VIP Lacrosse Gloves Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard
This recall involves black and white Brine VIP lacrosse gloves sold in three sizes: 10, 12 and 13 inches. The name "Brine" is printed in white and a silver triad symbol is printed on the back of the glove on the wrist cuff. This recall involves all athletic cups that have the Under Armour logo, including adult, teen, and youth sizes. The cups were sold individually and as part of a set with compression, slider, or jock shorts. September 16, 2008- Regent Sports Recalls Soccer Goal Nets Following Strangulation Death of a Child
Both soccer goals have a foldable white frame with a white net that is attached by Velcro strips. When upright, the MacGregor goal measures 6 feet wide by 3 feet high and the Mitre net measures 8 feet wide by 6 feet high. Each has a recalled net with squares measuring 5 inches on each side. The MacGregor soccer goal has model number 97236 printed on the assembly instructions and UPC code number 029807972365 printed on the net’s packaging. The Mitre soccer goal has model number 89186 printed on the assembly instructions and UPC code number 029807891864 printed on the net’s packaging. Nets manufactured after April 2007 with 4 inch by 4 inch square openings are not included in the recall. May 31, 2005- ITECH Recall of Hockey Goalie Masks and Replacement Wires
The recalled hockey goalie masks and replacement wires are non-certified models with a cat-eye design and have the word "ITECH" printed on the sides and front of the mask. The ITECH Profile 2100, 1100 and 8.0 goalie masks came in black or white. A label identifying the model and size (medium or large) is affixed to the rear crown of the helmet. In addition, the back of the helmet has a large red triangular warning label. The ITECH RP607 and RP609 replacement wires are black, white and chrome and include a unique side attachment design – they are attached to the helmet/mask by four screws and posts without the use of any additional clips.
