Recalls: Computer Equipment

This recall involves Canon WFT-E7A wireless file transmitters, which allow photographers to transfer image data securely without the use of cables and wires. The transmitters are black, 5.3 inches wide, 1.2 inches tall and 2.4 inches deep and weigh 5.8 ounces. The Canon logo, the words “Wireless File Transmitter” and a rubberized cover are on the top of the transmitter. A digital access port and an Ethernet access port are on one side of the unit and a battery compartment is on the opposite side. An LCD panel and a power switch are on the back of the transmitter and a tripod screw hole is in the center of the unit. The first two digits of the serial number of recalled units are “03” through “06” and the fifth digit is “1.” Serial numbers are on a gray metallic plate on the bottom of the unit. Read more.

The recalled all-in-one desktop computers, or PCs, are flat-panel monitors with the PC integrated into the monitor housing itself. The power supplies are also inside the monitor or PC housing. The computer chassis has a matte black finish with the brand name "ThinkCentre" in the lower left hand corner of the monitor front. The recalled desktop model numbers, M90z and M70z, along with the serial number and manufacturing date code can be found on a label on the underside of the unit. Read more.

This recall involves four desktop models of laser color printers: Magicolor 4750DN, Magicolor 3730DN, Bizhub C35 and Bizhub C35P. Model numbers are located on the plate attached to the side of the printer as well as the bottom of the front door. The chart below includes all notebook model numbers associated with batteries recalled to date. This recall involves certain Toshiba Satellite T135, Satellite T135D and Satellite Pro T130 notebook computer models. "Toshiba" is printed on the top of the notebook computer. The model name and number are printed on a label on the bottom of the notebook computers. Read more.

Only models with the following SKU numbers are affected by this recall: APA23US-02, APA23US-03, APA23US-04, APA63US-03, APA63US-04, APM62US-03 and APM62US-04. The recalled notebook computer models are the Acer AS3410, AS3410T, AS3810T, AS3810TG, AS3810TZ and AS3810TZG. The computer’s screen size is about 13.3 inches measured diagonally.
