December 19, 2006 Wal-Mart Stores Inc. Recalls Christmas Mug Gift Sets

The gift sets include a decorated ceramic mug and a stuffed Santa, snowman, or reindeer.  The stuffed characters measure 7-inches tall and are made of fleece-like material.  Two red and green buttons are sewn down the front of the characters.  “©DanDee™ COLLECTOR’S CHOICE®” and the product’s UPC number are printed on the character’s sewn-in labels.  UPC numbers are as follows: Santa 0 47475 45419 8, Snowman 0 47475 45429 7, Reindeer 0 47475 45439 6.  “Holiday Time™” is printed on the character’s hang tag.  The mug comes in three designs and measures 6-inches tall.  The designs include a Santa with green background, a snowman with blue background, and a Christmas tree with green background.   Read more.

January 5, 2006 C & A Scientific Co. Recall of Metal Alcohol Burners

The metal alcohol burner consists of a stainless steel tank with a screw-on steel lid. A copper tubing wick in the shape of a loop is soldered on the top of the burner's lid. The burner and lid measure 3-inches in diameter by 3 ½-inches high. The burner also has a separate metal top which fits over the copper wick to act as a snuffer, and a metal heat shield designed to sit on top of the lid. June 3, 2005 HSN LP Recall of Welbilt Electronic Pressure Cookers

The recalled Welbilt Electronic Pressure Cooker was sold under model number PC501. The model number PC501 is located in three places: near the control panel, on the instruction/warning label near the bottom of the unit, and on the bottom of the product. The name "Welbilt" is located near the control panel. The pressure cooker measures 11-inches-high, 11-inches-wide and 15-inches-long and was sold in white. Read more.

Fork has white plastic prongs and a blue & white checkered pattern on the handle with an image of Tigger. Sold at: School holiday shops. Remedy: Stop using the fork immediately. The recalled Corningware 4 Quart Slow Cooker (QVC item number K2585) has a removable white ceramic bowl with a glass lid and a plastic storage lid. The enclosure that surrounds the ceramic bowl is made of plastic. "CorningWare" is printed on the front of the unit underneath the digital display and control buttons.
