April 14, 2010 Dive Computers Recalled by Mares Due to Drowning Hazard

This recall involves the Mares Nemo Air Dive Computer, Nemo Air Dive Computer with Compass, Mares High Pressure Hose with Quick Connector for Nemo Air, and Quick Connector Assembly for Nemo Air. These computers have a digital screen which allows scuba divers to measure the time and depth of a dive and process other information to help divers determine safe dive times and ascent rates. This recall involves Brightway heavy duty outdoor extension cords and Brightway indoor household extension cords and power strips. Model numbers involved in the recall are R2600 through R2615 (outdoor extension cords), EE6 through EE20 (indoor extension cords) and MP6DG (power strips). “Brightway” is printed on the cords. March 23, 2010 Audio Receivers Recalled by Niles Audio Corp. Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves Niles® ZR-6 MultiZone Receivers. The receivers are black with a blue LCD display on the right side and the Niles logo in white on the front center. The receivers measure 17 inches wide x 3.5 inches high x 15 inches deep. The model number ZR-6 is located on the lower left side of the front panel of the receivers. Read more.

March 17, 2010 Mobile Power Packs Recalled By Tumi Due to Fire Hazard

The recalled Mobile Power Pack is a mobile device that receives an AC charge in a compact battery pack that will then give five DC charges to small electronic devices including mobile phones, MP-3 players, Blackberries, and PDAs. The power pack is black and silver and is rectangular in shape. The front of it has a small circular control panel. The front also displays the word “Tumi” engraved on a silver button located towards the bottom of the device. Style number 14362 is printed on the power pack packaging. Read more.

The recall involves the rechargeable batteries with the model number CB0217 2.4 volt 1500 mAh NiMH. Only batteries with date code 0809 are affected by this recall. This recall involves power adapters sold with IBM RDX removable back up hard disk drives. The data storage devices were sold with a power adapter that fits various country specific plugs. “Hon-Kwang Electric (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd” is printed on the adapters. This recall involves AMX 5000 series (MVP-5100, MVP-5150, MVP-5200i) wireless touch panels. The model number can be found on a label on the back of the unit. These touch panels can be used as remote controls for residential or commercial audio/visual systems.
