2011 Exmark Pioneer S-Series zero radius turn riding mowers with red, welded, tubular steel frames and mowing decks in three sizes - 44, 48 and 52 inches. Operators use two levers to control the mowers. The name Exmark is on the front of the seat mount and the name Pioneer is on the front of the floor pan. February 1, 2011 Briggs & Stratton Recalls Model 40 V-Twin Engine Due to Injury Hazard; Used on Sears, Husqvarna, Bad Boy Riding Mowers

The recalled product is a Briggs & Stratton V-twin engine with the date code 100201Y. The engines can be found in the following lawn mowers: Craftsman, model 247:289810; Husqvarna, model 960460016; and Bad Boy, model BBM4826BS. The engine date code is bottom-most number located on the valve cover of the engine. The valve cover is located at the front of the engine near the oil dipstick. Read more.

September 29, 2010 Black & Decker Recalls Cordless Electric Lawnmowers Due to Laceration Hazard

The recalled cordless electric mowers were sold under both the Black & Decker and Craftsman brand names. The recalled Black & Decker mowers have model number CMM1000 or CMM1000R. All date codes and types are included. The date code and type information are both located on a silver and black label affixed to the rear door of the mower. The Black & Decker mowers have either an orange or green deck with a black motor cover. The Craftsman-brand mowers have model number 900.370520 and include all date codes and types. The recall involves liquid-cooled Toro Z Master Z580, Z580-D, Z593-D and Z595-D zero-turn mowers. These units are equipped with fuel-injected, liquid-cooled Kawasaki gasoline or liquid-cooled Kubota diesel engines. March 17, 2009 Kubota Recalls Riding Mowers Due to Fire Hazard

The recalled riding mowers are propelled by gasoline V-twin engines and have 48-inch, 54-inch or 60-inch wide mower decks. The mowers come with adjustable roll bars and have 22 or 27 horsepower engines and are bright orange with KUBOTA decals on both sides behind the driver’s seat. This recall includes the following model numbers: ZG222(serial numbers 10002 through 13673), ZG227 (serial numbers 10002 through 12957), ZG327 (serial numbers 10004 through 13318) which can be identified by the model designation and serial number on the data plate located on the right side frame, either before the mower deck or immediately after the mower deck. September 26, 2008 Shivvers Manufacturing Recalls Lawn Mower Jacks Due to Collapse Hazard

The recalled jacks are used for lifting the lawn mower during service or maintenance. Two versions of this jack model have been manufactured. Version number one was made with a nylon nut and version number two was made with a sintered bronze nut. These recalled jacks were sold separately and on Charger, JAZee and Boss riding lawn mowers.
