Recalls: Bicycle Helmets
This recall involves seven models of UVEX helmets. The helmets come in a variety of colors with different colored chin straps. The helmets have a model number inside the helmet under the fitting pad on the top right side. The affected helmet model numbers are XB017, XB022, XB025, XB027, XB032, XB036 and XB038. Read more.
This recall involves Louis Garneau P-09 aerodynamic bicycle helmets with model number 1405362. The helmets are shaped like tear drops with a rounded front and a short, tapered tail. The outer shells of the helmets are made of polycarbonate and have a built-in visor system, dimples on the top like those on a golf ball, a small rectangular vent in the front and a triangular vent in the rear. The helmets came in three color schemes: black with red and white designs, white with blue and gray designs, and white with silver and white designs. The word "Garneau" is located on both sides of the helmet and the Louis Garneau logo is on the front under the vent. Recalled helmets have the manufacture date "Jan. 2014" on a sticker inside the helmet. Read more.
This recall involves Bell Full Throttle, full coverage bicycle motocross (BMX) helmets with a chin bar. The all-black helmets have UPC code 035011 937052 and part number 1009159 printed on a label on the side of the helmet shell. The Bell logo is affixed to the front and lower side of the helmet.

Little Tricky helmets are marketed for children and youth, and feature a large Little Tricky logo on both sides of the helmet. They come in one size and in black, white, pink and green. Triple Eight S/M EPS Liner helmets feature a hard black inner EPS foam liner and come in black, white, bone, blue and army green. Sector 9 S/M EPS Liner helmets feature the same EPS liner and come in gray, white, black, blue and green. Both the Triple Eight and Sector 9 helmets have an interior label indicating the size “S/M” for small/medium and a manufacture date indicated as month/year (ex. APR/2011). Only Triple Eight and Sector 9 size “S/M” EPS Liner helmets are affected. Read more.
This recall involves Bell Exodus full-face helmets with a plastic buckle on the chinstrap and model and part numbers listed below. The helmets have an angled visor and were sold in youth size. The model and part number can be found on a removable sticker located on the side of the helmet. Read more.
The recalled bench adapters are silver colored. “MINI CHARGER” is printed on the back of the adapter. When plugged in a red light shines through a blue plastic piece on the outer side of the adapter. “AC Adapter” is printed on a white label on the inner side. This recall involves the Specialized helmets, model 2D. Model “2D” is printed on the sides of the helmet in the rear. The helmets were sold for men and women in matte black, white, silver, blue, pink, and team colors. Read more.
The recalled products are six-inch tall, collectible, miniature helmets, modeled after helmets worn by several race car drivers. The follow models are included in the recall: Terry Borcheller helmet, part number 2005740; Kurt Busch helmet, part number 2001368; and Vitor Meira helmet, part number 2001381.
