September 14, 2010 Fun Stuff Recalls Children's Toys Due to Choking Hazard

The recalled bracelets and balls are made of stretchy, rubber material with hard plastic, colorful balls attached at the end of the toy's arms. The toys were sold with orange, green, pink, purple and blue colored balls. The BoBo balls have a flashing lighted ball encased in the stretchy material. September 8, 2010 The Land of Nod Recalls Toy Vegetables Due to Laceration Hazard

This recall involves The Land of Nod toy vegetables sets made of felt wool. The toy set has six vegetables: radish, onion, asparagus, tomato, lettuce and carrot. The asparagus is the only toy vegetable involved in this recall. Read more.


June 10, 2010 Rhino Toys Inc. Recalls Bead Toy Due to Choking Hazard

This recall involves the Beado hand-held beaded play toy with model number 1501 and date code 02910 04323A. The product measures six inches in diameter and is composed of four blue plastic "hubs", six white plastic "wires" and twelve multi-colored beads that slide along the wires. The model number and date code are printed on the bottom of the packaging and the date code is also inside of the blue hubs (see picture below). Beados that have a date code different than 02910 or have a date code of 02910 and an inspection sticker on the bottom of the packaging and a black mark by the date code inside the blue hub (see picture below) are not included in this recall. June 3, 2010 One Step Ahead Recalls Children's Stacking Toys Due to Choking and Aspiration Hazard

This recall involves Animal Crackers Giant Stacking Toys. The multi-colored toy has five plush stacking rings that stack and rest on a stationary turtle base. The rings represent different animals including a frog, dog, cat, rabbit, mouse and chick. A fish is on top of the center pole. Each ring makes a different sound: rattle, jingle, crinkle and squeak. “One Step Ahead” is printed on a white tag attached to the toy. February 10, 2010 Tiny Love Recalls Wind Chime Toys Due to Puncture and Laceration Hazards

December 30, 2009 Wooden Toys Recalled by Kendamaspot Due to Violation of Lead Paint Ban

This recall involves Oozora and Shin-Fuji Kendama Japanese wooden skill toys. The toys have a ball connected by a string to a handle with three cups and spike on top. A Japanese Kendama Association sticker is affixed to the toy. The red and green balls on the Oozora and only the red balls on the Shin Fuji are included in the recall. Read more.


December 8, 2009 Snap Beads Recalled By Edushape Due to Choking Hazard

The recalled product is multicolor and textured soft plastic beads that are designed to connect to one another. The beads are packaged in a 6” x 6” x 8” clear plastic jar with a photo of a child playing with the beads on the label. The word “Edushape” is written on the label in green and red. Read more.


October 6, 2009 Daiso Recalls Children's Toys, Purses and Pen Cases Due to Violation of Lead Paint and Phthalate Limits

This recall involves balancing toys in the shape of dragonflies, children’s purses in the shape of the head of a lion, frog or bear, children’s purses with rainbow stripes, children’s pen cases shaped like a piece of candy with stitching “cool ice cream,” “sweet cake,” or “fad hamburger” on the front, and inflatable baseball bats with “Home Run” printed on the side. This recall involves a wood frame, canvas seat, toy beach chair for stuffed animals. Some styles include an attached pillow. The toy chairs are blue (style #’s 002281, 004463, 009907, 011565, 102281, 109907, 111565), red (style #’s 007391, 011566, 107391, 111566), fuchsia/white stripe (style #’s 013226, 113226), Orange/white stripe (style #’s 013227, 113227). April 1, 2009 Lakeshore Learning Materials Recalls Children's Toy Boxes Due to Choking Hazard

The recalled product is a soft, multi-colored box with a different color on each side. “What’s Inside?” is embroidered on the front of the box and symbols of a lion, flower and purple butterfly are stitched on another side. Each feely box contains ten small stuffed pieces. The piece affected by this recall is the pink and purple butterfly. Read more.
