September 12, 2012 Bluestem Brands Recalls Range Rider Ride-on Toy Cars Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

This recall involves battery-powered Range Rider ride-on toy cars with an off-road vehicle body style and plastic tires. The ride-on cars were sold in pink and tan colors. The recalled Range Riders can be identified by their product code and model number. The model number is on the back of the seat of the ride-on toy car. August 21, 2012 Kickboard USA Recalls Children's Scooter Due to Laceration Hazard

This recall is for the three-wheeled Mini Micro scooter for children ages 3-5. The scooter was sold in the following colors: blue, orange, pink and aqua. "Micro" is written in black and blue letters on the metal handlebar and is imprinted on the black hand grips. "Mini Micro" is written on the front plastic covering. August 14, 2012 Toysmith Recalls Animal Snap Bracelets Due to Laceration Hazard

This recall includes Animal Snap Bracelets in assorted metallic fabrics with animal figures, including: Seahorse, Frog, Snake, Starfish, Crab, Lizard, Dolphin and Fish. Manufacturing date codes between 07/11 and 01/12 are printed on a sewn-in label found on the inside of the bracelet. The label includes the Toysmith name and address. A round paper tag is attached to the product with the product name, Toysmith information, the words "Item # 2360 Animal Snap Bracelet," SKU number and bar code. Read more.


July 31, 2012 Green Toys Recalls Mini Vehicles Due To Choking Hazard

This recall involves Green Toys™ Mini Vehicles. All cars are made of plastic and available in yellow, green, red, white and blue. Model names and numbers for the seven recalled vehicles or sets are listed in the table below. For Mini Vehicle (MVHA - 1014) and Fastback (MVFA-1022) sets the model numbers can be found on the bottom of the toys' packaging. For all other cars, a label with the model number can be found on the bottom of the car itself. Read more.


May 30, 2012 Toys R Us Recalls Imaginarium Activity Center Due to Choking Hazard

This recall involves the Imaginarium 5-Sided Activity Center. The multi-sided center has two triangle-shaped ends with a wooden multi-colored xylophone on one and a mirror on the other. The three sides are square-shaped and include moveable block letters, rotating gears and sliding shapes. The name “Imaginarium” appears in a blue, oval-shaped logo underneath the mirror on one end. The second ‘i’ in the logo is dotted with a shooting star. The recalled product has model number 46284; Toys “R” Us item number 295909; and has the barcode number 000799985462841. The model number is printed on the back of the box, directly above the bar code. These numerical markings do not appear on the actual product. Read more.


April 26, 2012 Manhattan Group Recalls Baby Rattles Due to Choking Hazard

This recall involves Whoozit® Starry Time baby rattles. The plastic rattles feature three colored (orange, aqua blue and purple) stars stacked front to back between two clear spheres on a flexible stem. The rattle measures about 5-1/2-inches long. Each clear ball, located at the end of the rattle, measures 1-3/4 inches in diameter. The clear rattles contain small multi-colored beads and a white plastic disc featuring a blue smiling character face inside. The name of the product is printed on the hang tag. Read more.


March 30, 2012 Toy Truck Gifts with Purchase Recalled by Happy Shirts Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves Big Movers Super Car toy trucks that were gifts with the purchase of Big Movers t-shirts. The 4-inch long blue trucks have oversized tires and a flashing light on top and were sold with a yellow, red and blue logo on the hood. The navy t-shirts were sold in boys' sizes S, M and L. March 27, 2012 Baby Dolls Recalled by Lakeshore Learning Materials Due to Choking Hazard

Feels Real Baby Dolls are 14-inch high plastic dolls with movable arms, legs, and head. The dolls are Hispanic, Caucasian, Asian and Black and are dressed in diapers with a colored hearts, stars and swirl print. Two labels are sewn inside the back of the diaper. "Lakeshore" is written on the larger label. The number "550200" is written on the smaller label. Read more.


March 13, 2012 Guidecraft Recalls Children's Play Theaters Due to Tip-over Hazard

This recall involves all 4-in-1 dramatic play theaters with model number G51062. The model number is printed on a sticker affixed to the bottom of the center crossbar and on the assembly instructions. The toy has two interchangeable panels with different themes on each side: a puppet theater and diner, or a doctor's office and post office. An assembled play theater measures 4-feet high by 3-feet wide and weighs about 46 pounds. Read more.
