Recalls: Fuel and Lighters and Fireworks
The recalled lighters have the "Speedway" logo on the front, "Acculite" embossed on only one side of the silver metal windscreen, and the warning information on the back in black type only (no red type). Read more.
The recall involves a one-inch gas ball shut-off valve sold as a Watts Series GBV two-piece, Brass Gas Ball Valve used in commercial and residential applications for manufactured natural gas and liquid propane (LP) gas piping systems. The valves feature a brass ball and stem, teflon seats and packing, brass end piece and a zinc alloy handle. They have a date code of 0511 cast into the body of the valve. Some 0511 body date code valves were among 1,225 valves shipped to 43 Watts' customers' locations between July 9, 2005 and August 8, 2005. Of these 1,225 valves, all but 9 valves shipped to 6 commercial customers have been recovered or accounted for. Read more.
These 5-foot-tall Tiki® bamboo torches consist of a bamboo pole with a weaved basket at the top and a metal flame guard, which is a circular black piece that holds the wick in place and attaches to the fuel canister. The recall includes the Tiki® Beachcomber, Seagrass and Sandpiper model torches. The recall also involves replacement canisters that have the metal flame guards. Recalled units have the following UPC numbers: 086861010372 (Beachcomber), 086861013335 (Seagrass), 086861010457 (Sandpiper) and 076354995262 (Replacement Canister). The UPC number and the model name are written on the packaging or attached tag. Read more.
The products are two hard balls that meant to produce a snapping or popping sound when hit together. Each package contains a pair of blaster balls that are about 1.25-inches in diameter and were sold in assorted colors. They were sold in a blister pack that measured about 6.75-inches by 5-inches, with a UPC number located on the pack of package reading 3826959035. Read more.
The products are smoke-producing novelty devices packaged in a 4.5-inch long cylindrical tube. "MAMMOTH SMOKE" is written on the side of the devices in blue and yellow. They were sold in sets with other types of fireworks. Read more.
The recall involves Bat Out of Hell fireworks with model number CP1129 and Powder House fireworks with model number CP1130. The model number is printed on all four sides of the device above the warning label. These are 1.4g consumer fireworks devices that consist of 16 multiple shots in the shape of a square cube. The name of the product is printed on the packaging, along with the word "TNT." Read more.
These refillable, butane-fueled lighters are silver in color with a black sliding switch at the middle of the product. Two models of the lighters are included in this recall: a 7-inch model (model number 324007) and a 12-inch model (model number 324012). "Aristo Home & Garden" and "Fire Stick" are printed on the products' original packaging. Read more.
The recalled fuel is used for outdoor cooking stoves. "MSR® SuperFuel™" is printed on the label and is packaged in red metal cans. "SUPERFUEL, MSR Cleanest-Burning Liquid Fuel for MSR Stoves," and "32 FL OZ/1 Quart/.946 Liter" are printed across the front of the can.
