October 1, 2008 Pottery Barn Recalls Wooden Hammock Stands Due to Fall and Laceration Hazard

The wooden hammock stands measure about 154 ½ inches long by 53 ½ inches in height by 53 inches in width. There are two black metal brackets on the base and on the arms of the hammock stand. August 29, 2008 Baby Hammocks Recalled by FlagHouse Inc. Due to Fall and Strangulation Hazards

The recalled baby hammock is cream-colored canvas and hangs from a wooden pole. The hammock measures about 29 x 43 inches. It has three restraint straps with red buckles and is attached to a cushioned pad for the infant. A mounting fixture, also called a fixing set, is sold with the hammock. “La Siesta” is printed on a tag located below the restraint straps. Model number YABP-1 is printed on a white tag sewn into the hammock’s side seam. Read more.


July 29, 2008 New England Ropes Recalls Climbing Lines Due to Fall Hazard

Two types of climbing ropes have been included in this recall, the Maxim Apogee 9.1mm and Maxim Pinnacle 9.5mm. The Maxim Apogee 9.1mm is a 48 carrier climbing rope. The colors are yellow and black, and red and yellow. The model numbers are 3411-91 and 3415-91, with date codes 060801 thru 080601. The UPC codes are: 75396312299, 75396312298, 75396312301, and 75396312300. The Maxim Pinnacle 9.5mm is a blue 48 carrier climbing rope. The Model number is 3403-95, with date codes 070201 thru 080601. The UPC codes are 75396312292 and 75396312293. The date codes and the UPC codes are on the original packaging. Read more.


April 29, 2008 Hammocks Sold by LivingXL Recalled Due to Fall Hazard

The recalled hammocks are Model X1010 multi texteline hammock and Model X1011 striped quilted hammock. They consist of a metal frame and cloth hammock. The metal frame is made of steel, is beige in color, and has five pieces, including two foot brackets. The model number is located on the hammock’s packaging and/or instruction sheet. Read more.

This recall involves the Pullover Style Full Body Safety Harnesses model SP40300 that were included as an accessory with Gorilla 2007 ladder stands. This recall involves Gorilla Kong Maxx Ladder Stands with model number 43032 and batch numbers G051507, G051507D, G061507D, G071507D, and G081507D. Model numbers are printed on the box only. Batch numbers are stamped on the vertical rail of the first ladder section. The stand is 19-feet to the shooting rail, or 16-foot 8-inches to the platform. The foot platform measures 17 ½ -inches wide. This is the only Gorilla, Inc. ladder stand with these dimensions. Read more.
