February 21, 2019 Shearwater Recalls Diving Transmitters Due to Drowning Hazard

This recall involves Shearwater yellow pressure diving transmitters. The transmitters provide a tank pressure reading for scuba divers. The transmitter is yellow, with a cylindrical shape and measures 3 inches in length. "FCC ID: MH8A" is printed on the end of the transmitter. Part number 13009 or 13009-01 is printed on the cardboard packaging along with an 8 digit serial number starting in FK or BM etched on the side. Read more.

This recall involves Zeagle Sport BCD inflators. BCDs are used to help a diver maintain buoyancy under water during scuba diving. This recall involves Helix residential pool slides with serial numbers from SR-HX13-01001 to SR-HX13-01488 and SR-HX14-01001 to SR-HX14-01602. "S.R. Smith," "Helix" and the serial number can be found on the product label located on the top right side of the slide near the staircase rail. The recalled slides are 7 feet, 4 inches tall at the highest point and have a helix (corkscrew) shape to its slide or flume. Read more.

March 10, 2016 Anchor Industries Recalls Safety Pool Covers Due to Drowning Risk (Recall Alert)

This recall involves mesh and solid-material Anchor 5-Star, Anchor Mesh, Classic Solid and Defender Mesh brand custom safety pool covers. The covers' cables are connected to the pool wall using brass-plated snap hooks with a gold-tone spring tab, a seam and a hook end with a bezel. The date of manufacture appears on the warning label on the underside of each pool cover. Manufacture dates of "Sep 14," "Oct 14" and "Nov 14" are subject to the recall. "Manufactured by Anchor Industries, Inc." also appears on the label. Read more.

February 2, 2016 Scubapro Recalls Dive Computers

The recall includes the 2015 models of UWATEC Galileo Luna and Sol dive computers. Only dive computers with the following serial numbers are included in the recall. Galileo LUNA dive computers have serial numbers 150422 0058 001 to 150903 0338 005 and Galileo SOL dive computers have serial numbers 150423 0202 001 to 150921 0001 005. The serial number is stamped on the back of the computer and printed on a label on the product packaging. Read more.
