April 12, 2012 Additional Fire Incidents Prompts Baja Motorsports to Reannounce Dirt Bike Recall

This recall involves all model DR50 and DR70 Baja dirt bikes with vehicle identification number (VIN) beginning with "L98," the letter "B" as the 10th character of the VIN and having a yellow dot or line marked on or near the VIN. The model number and VIN are located on the product data plate, which is located on the side of the "goose neck" - where the handle bars meet the body of the bike. Read more.

April 10, 2012 Club Car Recalls Utility and Transport Vehicles Due to Crash Hazard

The recalled vehicles are various sizes, models and colors of model year 2012 gas and electric powered utility and transport vehicles used for short-distance transportation. April 5, 2012 Public Bikes Recalls Bicycles Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves 18 models of women’s and men’s Public Bikes. The bicycles are various colors and sizes. “Public” or “Publicbikes.com” is printed on either the bicycle chain guard or the rear fender. The bicycles have a metal “badge” at the top of the down tube with a number stamped on it. Recalled badge numbers are 1-5843, 5845, 12560, 20743 and 20757. The “Apple” model, which has no badge, is also included. The word “Wellgo” is embossed on both the top and bottom of the pedals. All bicycles with Wellgo pedals are included in this recall. March 22, 2012 Lacrosse Helmets Recalled by Easton Sports Due to Facial Injury Hazard

This recall involves all Easton Raptor Lacrosse Helmets. “Easton” is printed on either side of the back of the helmet and on the jaw strap. “RAPTOR” is printed low on the back of the helmet in the center. The helmets were sold in sizes XS/S, M/L, and XL/XXL and were available in the following colors: white; matte black; silver; navy blue and white; royal blue and white; and red and white. Read more.


March 20, 2012 Bon Hiver Recalls Freebase Snowboard Bindings Due To Fall Hazard

The recalled products are Bon Hiver Freebase snowboard bindings in the following models: 11 Series - Assault or Infrared, 13 Series - Arsenal or Hellfire and 18 Series - Stealth or Storm. The bindings are sold in pairs. Each binding is made up of two pieces: a boot base and a base plate. The boot base, which attaches to the snowboarder's boot, has a high back, ankle strap, toe strap and footplate. It is made of plastic and aluminum, has six magnets on the underside of the footplate and is made in the following colors: black, blue, red and white. The Bon Hiver logo appears on the back of the boot base near the top and across the ankle strap. The words "Bon Hiver Snowboarding" appear on the heel. The series number is located next to the logo on the back of the boot base and on the side of one of the footplates. The base plate is flat and made of black plastic. The vehicles are model year 2012 Kawasaki four-wheeled, off-highway utility vehicles with side-by-side seating for two people and automobile style controls. March 7, 2012 Swing Sets Recalled for Repair by BCI Burke Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves the end and middle arch supports on Arch Swing Sets and added bays with belt or bucket seats built with 2 3/8 inch steel tubing. The swings have a 2 7/8 inch diameter sleeve that is welded to the middle or end support. “Burke” is printed on identification labels that were provided to installers who may or may not have put them on the swings. March 6, 2012 Gore Recalls Ride-On Bicycle Brake Cables Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves GORE® Ride On® Low Friction System brake cables for road bikes and GORE® Ride On® Professional System brake cables for road bikes. The cables are silver and are available with housings in black, white, blue or red. "GORE Ride-On" is printed on the housing for the Low Friction cable. "GORE Ride-On Professional" is printed on the housing for the Professional System cables. The cables are being recalled only if they were installed on road bikes that use a Campagnolo-style brake lever. The ends, or attachment heads, on the Campagnolo systems have the letters "C" "CC," or "RO" imprinted on them. February 29, 2012 Twin Oaks Recalls Hammock Stands Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves hammock stands made from steel pipe and sold in green and black under the Twin Oaks brand. The hammock stands are used with all Twin Oaks double and family-sized rope hammocks, as well as all Twin Oaks fabric hammocks.
