July 28, 2015 Kyber Outerwear Recalls Children’s Sweaters Due to Strangulation Hazard

These animal-themed, hooded children's sweaters are 100 percent wool when produced in Nepal and 50 percent wool and 50 percent acrylic when produced in Bangladesh. The sweaters have a tag sewn on the left seam several inches above the hem with the company name and the place of origin. The company name is also located on a patch on the left sleeve at the cuff and on a patch in the collar. Read more.


December 22, 2014 James Trading Group Recalls Croker Kids Fleece Panel Hoodie Due to Strangulation Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves James Trading Group's Croker Kids brand Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) licensed fleece hoodies. The hoodie has a full zippered front and 3-tone color panels of green, white and blue, with GAA embroidery on the left and right chest and on the hood. The word Ireland is printed on the back across the shoulders. The fabric is 75% cotton and 25% polyester. They were sold in kid's sizes "2YR" through "12YR" shown on a hang tag and on the tag sewn into the neck. Model number GA2002 is on a hang tag. Read more.


December 19, 2014 BRP Recalls Ski-Doo and Can-Am Kids’ Hoodies Due to Strangulation Hazard

This recall involves 14 styles of Ski-Doo or Can-Am kids' hooded sweatshirts for boys and girls. They were sold in kids' sizes 2 through 12. The hoodies are cotton/polyester blend. There is a drawstring in the hood of the garment. Colors include raspberry, yellow, heather, charcoal gray and black. "Ski Doo" or "Can-Am" is printed on the front. Recalled style numbers include: 286485, 453215, 453265, 453320, 453321, 453375, 453376, 453464, 453618, 453658, 453660, 453661, 453707 and 453708. December 18, 2014 Kiddie Korral Recalls Girls Hoodies with Ponies Due to Strangulation Hazard

This recall involves Kiddie Korral girl's pink hooded sweatshirts with red ponies and a drawstring through the hood. The zippered front hoodies have two front pockets, are made of 100% polyester and were sold in sizes 2 through 12. A label sewn into the garment's neck seam reads "Kiddie Korral" and a label sewn into the side seam has RN#117026 and style number 327. Read more.


September 30, 2014 Pure Baby Organics Boys Hoodie Recalled by Chantique's Corp. Due To Strangulation Hazard

This recall involves a Pure Baby Organic boy's hoodie made of 100% cotton. It comes in solid gray with a red drawstring that is inside the lining of the hood that surrounds the face. They have a zipper front closure. The recalled hoodies were sold in toddler boy's sizes 2t to boy's size 3. There is a white label sewn into the neck line that has the name Purebaby on it. There is also a label underneath it that has the size printed on it and states Made in India. A label with style number PB1613.B12 is sewn into an inside side seam of the garment under the washing instruction label. Read more.


September 30, 2014 Active Apparel Recalls Boys Fission Zipper Hooded Sweatshirts Due to Strangulation Hazard

This recall involves boys Fission zipper hooded sweatshirts made of 100% cotton. The sweatshirts come in black, green, royal blue, true red and turquoise color. There is a white drawstring tie that is attached on each side of the neck area. There are two pockets and a white zipper on the front of the garment. The recalled sweatshirts were sold in boys sizes small (size 8-10) and medium (size 12-14). The size can be found on the label that is sewn into the seam of the neck area. There is also a white label sewn into the lower left seam inside the garment. On the label, it states Karachi Pakistan, Active Apparel, has the manufacture date "MAY, 2014," and batch number 61271,159. Read more.


September 10, 2014 Benetton Recalls United Colors of Benetton Boys Jackets; Waist Drawstring Poses Entanglement Hazard

This recall involves United Colors of Benetton boy's jackets made of 100% cotton. They are navy with a brown drawstring at the waist and a zipper and five brown buttons front closure. The hooded jackets have snap buttons on each of the two side pockets and on the neck closure. They were sold in boy's sizes S through XL. United Colors of Benetton is printed on the sewn-in green label at the center back neck of the jackets. Style number 2GQ1534Q0 is on the white label located inside the jacket near the waist. May 1, 2014 RMP Athletic Locker Recalls Boys' Hooded Jackets; Drawstrings Pose Strangulation Hazard

This recall involves the Ripzone Boys' Hooligan hoodie jacket. The jackets are 100% polyester waterproof material and have a front zip closure with Velcro adjustable cuffs. There are two zippered pockets on the front of the jacket and a drawstring around the neck of the garment. The jacket is black with a neon blue stripe diagonal across each shoulder and two neon blue stripes around the bottom of the jacket. The jackets were sold in youth sizes small/petite (s/p) and medium (m). RPZN and the size can be found on the label sewn into the seam of the neck area of the garment. This recall involves U.S. Polo Assn. girl's jackets. The jackets have the name U.S. Polo Assn. with the year 1890 and crossed polo mallets on the jacket's upper right exterior and a silhouette of two polo players and the initials USPA on the jacket's upper left exterior. The jackets come in the colors fuchsia, green and cream in girl's sizes 4-16. The name Q4 Designs LLC and style numbers can be found on the white tracking label tag sewn into the inside of the jacket near the waist band.
