This recall involves the Play Wonder Barbeque Grill. The grill is metal and has an orange metal base and top, along with stainless steel legs and a removable circular ash tray. May 3, 2007 Sagittarius Sporting Goods Recalls Gas Grills Sold at Lowe's Stores for Fire, Burn Hazards

The recall involves 25-inch by 18-inch Perfect Flame brand, four-burner, stainless steel gas grills with date codes JU, JV, JW, JX, JY, or JZ. The name "Perfect Flame" is on the grill hood. The model number, 2518SL, and the date code are located on a label inside the left front door of the grill. Read more.


May 1, 2007 Char-Broil Recalls Two-Burner Gas Grills Sold Exclusively at Big Lots Stores Due to Fire, Burn Hazard

Only Char-Broil gas grills with model number 463720407 are included in the recall. This is a two-burner 360 square inch cooking surface gas grill with a 170 square inch swing-away rack, two side shelves and a condiment basket. Char-Broil's logo is on the top of the lid of the grill. The serial number is located on the white rating label on the back of the upper front panel of the grill. The serial numbers range from G305040611002821 to G305040611003420. Read more.


March 6, 2007 Weber-Stephen Products Recalls Gas Grills Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves the Weber® Genesis® 320™ Series gas grills which are designed to be used with either natural gas or with liquid propane gas tanks, and are equipped with a flush-mounted side burner accessory. The gas hose is made of stainless steel. The grills are sold in stainless steel and in black, blue or green porcelain enamel. All serial numbers begin with the prefix "DI". The model and serial number are located on the tank blocker/drip pan holder located inside the storage cart. Read more.


October 31, 2006 Cobb America Inc. Warns Charcoal Grill Purchasers of CO Hazard

The product is made of stainless steel with a wire mesh bottom and a dome-shaped lid. It has a non-stick-coated grill grid. It weighs about 10 pounds and is about 10 inches tall. An outside label reads "Cobb Premier." It comes with several accessories, including a black carrier bag with "Cobb" lettered in yellow on top. Read more.

The fire pit is an outdoor gas fire pit with a surrounding housing that serves as a table. The fire pits were sold in various shapes and sizes, including oval, hexagonal, round and octagonal. They have various style table tops, including real and faux marble, slate, ceramic or stone. The bases of the fire pits have various styles, including mountain stone, field stone, flag stone, cobblestone, stucco, brick and wicker. The model number 98500 or 98500A is printed on the top of the label on the side of the sliding drawer holding the propane tank, or, on some models, on the back of the hinged door that lifts up to get to the propane tank. September 13, 2006 John Deere Gas Barbecue Grills Recalled Due to Fire, Burn Hazards

These are John Deere Gas Barbecue Grills with model numbers HR-BG6203 and HR-BG5202. The model number is on the CSA approval sticker on the back panel. The recalled grills have a John Deere symbol on the center of the hood and a John Deere decal plate below the control panel. These are 52,000 BTU grills with 460 sq. in. cooking surface. The Model HR-BG6203 includes stainless steel doors, stainless steel side shelves and a side burner rated at 10,000 BTU. The Model HR-BG5202 has stainless steel doors with black plastic side shelves. June 1, 2006 Nexgrill Industries Gas Grills Recalled Due to Fire Hazard

The recalled product is the Nexgrill Model 720-0025 Gas Grill. The stainless steel grill is designed to be used with propane gas. The name of the grill is located at the left corner of the exterior of the main burner lid. The serial number is printed on the CSA sticker which is located behind the door. A temperature gauge is located at the center of the main burner lid. Read more.


February 23, 2006 Barbeques Galore Inc. Recalls Gas Grills Posing Risk of Gas Leaks, Fires

The Turbo Sport Portable Infrared LP Gas Grill is model number IR600; the model number is not identified on the grill. The Turbo Sport measures 16.5-inches long by 14-inches wide and 12-inches high. The portable grill is constructed of stainless steel with an attached stainless steel hood. The "Turbo Sport" nameplate is on the front panel of the grill. No other barbecue with the "Turbo" name is affected by this recall. Read more.


December 20, 2005 Meco Corp. Recall to Repair Gas Grills

The recall involves certain Aussie™ Gas Grills in the Bonza, Bushman and Bondi series, which have "Aussie™" found on the front panel and the series name found on the control panel. Regulator assemblies on these grills have date codes of 2704 and lower. The regulator is attached to the side of the grills.
