January 12, 2023 LG Electronics Recalls Free-Standing 86-Inch Smart Televisions and Stands Due to Serious Tip-Over and Entrapment Hazards (Recall Alert)

This recall involves four LG Electronics 86-inch smart TV models with model numbers 86UQ8000AUB, 86UQ7070ZUD, 86UQ7590PUD, and 86NANO75UQA. The TVs (not including the stands) are 86 inches diagonally, 43.5 inches high, 76 inches wide, and 2.4 inches deep. They weigh approximately 100 pounds. The serial number of the recalled product begins with 202RM, 203RM, 204RM, 205RM, 206RM, 207RM, or 208RM and is located at the bottom right of the back of the TV, along with the model number. Consumers can also check the serial number by pressing the mute button, three times rapidly, on the original LG remote control provided with their TV. Read more.


January 19, 2018 Panasonic Recalls Flat Screen Televisions and Swivel Stands Due to Tip-Over Hazard

This recall involves Panasonic 55-inch, LED/LCD flat screen televisions with a tabletop swivel stand intended for use in hotels, government buildings and schools. The televisions are black and "Panasonic" is printed on the front. The television's model number is TH055LRU50. The model number is printed on a tag located in the center of the back of the television. The swivel stand is a glossy black color and measures 50.5 inches long by 32 inches tall by 11.1 inches deep. There is a label on the front underside of the base as well as a number etched into the metal. Read more.


September 4, 2014 AmTRAN Video Recalls to Repair 42-Inch JVC Flat Panel Televisions Due to Risk of Tip Over

This recall involves JVC 42-inch, Emerald Series Full HD 1080P LED flat panel televisions, model EM42FTR and serial number beginning with "T". The flat panel televisions are black with "JVC" printed in the lower center of the television front. Model and serial numbers are located on the bottom left on the back of the television. December 12, 2013 Thirteen Retailers Recall 32" Coby Flat Screen Televisions Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

This recall involves black Coby 32-inch flat screen televisions with model number TFTV3229 and serial numbers beginning with LG and that have M07 or M10 in the 9th, 10th and 11th position of the serial number.
