January 22, 2014 Baby Rattles Recalled by Midwest-CBK Due to Choking Hazard

This recall involves donut-shaped polyester knit fabric baby rattles with heads and arms to resemble a bear, monkey and a lion. They measure about 7 inches in diameter by 2 inches thick. Sweet-ums and Midwest-CBK are printed on a hang tag on the rattles. A label sewn into the rattles has Midwest-CBK, the production date 04/2013 and the batch #:00001281 printed on it. Read more.


December 4, 2013 Manhattan Group Recalls Baby Rattles Due to Choking Hazard

This recall includes the Manhattan Toy® Quixel™ baby rattle. The plastic rattles have four, colored arches (red, orange, green and blue) with sliding beads on each of the arches. The arches are held together by a single string of red, white and blue elastic. The rattle arches measure about 5 inches in diameter. The product was sold with or without a box. June 27, 2013 Fred & Friends Recalls Baby Rattles Due to Choking Hazard

This recall involves the "Buff Baby" baby rattle. The gray plastic rattle is shaped like a dumbbell and has plastic pellets inside. The rattle measures about 5.5-inches long and 2-inches wide and "0.2" is embossed on both pentagon-shaped ends of the rattle. The rattles were packaged in clear cylindrical packages featuring a picture of a young girl lifting the rattle. The UPC code 728987019098 can be found on the bottom of the package. Read more.


December 20, 2012 Sassy and Carter's-branded Hug N' Tug Baby Toys Recalled Due to Choking Hazard

The recalled toys for infants can be attached to a stroller or car seat using a ring connector on the toy's head. They have arms and legs that can be easily pulled back and forth for play. The toys are approximately 12 inches tall, made of multi-colored fabrics, contain rattle beads inside a clear plastic sphere body and have the face of either a puppy or monkey. Recalled styles include: Sassy Hug N' Tug Puppy, model #80213; Sassy Hug N' Tug Monkey model #80214 and Carter's-branded Hug N' Tug Monkey, models #61083 that were sold on a blue packaging card and #61540 sold on a grey packaging card. Sassy®-branded toys have "Sassy®" written on the sewn-in label located on the back of the character's head. The Carter's®-branded toys have "Carter's®" written in red on the blue plastic ring connected to the toy's head and also the sewn-in label located on the back of the character's head. Read more.


September 1, 2011 Wooden Rattle Recalled by Manhattan Group Due to Choking Hazard

The painted wood rattle is approximately 6 inches long and has a yellow ball at each end, two U-shaped pieces (red and pale blue) and an orange bead in the center with a green center post connecting all pieces. The moving parts make noise when they come together. Read more.

March 3, 2011 Rattles Recalled by Rhino Toys Due to Choking Hazard

This recall involves infant rattles called OBall Links & Mini Rattles™. The soft plastic OBall is 2 1/2 inches in diameter and has beads inside a small plastic bubble that make the rattle sound. The OBall is attached to a 7 1/2 inch soft plastic chain by C-shaped plastic links on both ends. "OBall" is stamped into the top of the plastic chain. Read more.


January 12, 2011 Kid O Products Recalls Baby Rattles Due To Choking Hazard

This recall involves the Prisma and Duo style wooden baby rattles with multi-colored beads. The Prisma rattle is shaped as a bell with a loop handle and has style number 10331. The rattle measures about 3 ¾- inches long. “Prisma” and the style number can be found on the packaging. The Duo rattle is two interlocked rings with red and blue bead accents. “Duo” and style number 10333 is printed on the packaging. Read more.

January 15, 2009 Infantino Expands Recall of Infant Rattles Due to Choking Hazard

The recalled Infantino Lamb and Lion Grabby Rattles™ are shaped like a lamb and lion respectively. Each has a ring-shaped body and an Infantino elliptical logo stamped on the front right foot of the animal. Rattles without tails on the animals and products with production codes of 0108 and 0508 are not affected by this recall. The production code is printed behind the ear in a dial format with the year (08) in the middle of a circle and an arrow pointing to the number on the circle (01 or 05) that indicates the month.
