September 1, 2021 SKE Outdoors Recalls Kids Bike Helmets Due to Risk of Head Injury

This recall involves the TurboSke Kids Toddler bike helmets. The recalled helmets were sold in size small (S), fitting head circumference from about 19 inches to 20 inches. The helmets were sold in lime green, mint blue, black, magenta pink, purple and orange colors. "TurboSke" is printed on the front and back of the helmet. The model FX010 is printed on a label on the inside of the helmet. Only size small helmets are included in this recall. Read more.


February 24, 2021 SmartPool Recalls Children's Multi-Purpose Helmets Due to Risk of Head Injury

This recall involves Bee Free-branded children's multi-purpose helmets which can be used for multiple sports. The helmets were sold in size small, fitting head circumference from 48 cm to 53 cm (18.9 to 21.2 inches). The helmets were sold in yellow with black straps and black clip. Bee Free is printed on the back of the helmets. Model RPBFHYS is printed on a label on the inside of the helmet. S for small is printed on another label also on the inside of the helmet. November 24, 2020 Any Volume Recalls Bicycle Helmets Due to Risk of Head Injury; Sold Exclusively on ebay.com (Recall Alert)

This recall involves Any Volume's adult bicycle helmets. The recalled medium-sized helmets were sold in blue, green, pink, red, white and yellow. The helmets have black nylon fabric straps with white striped patterns in the center and a black plastic knob at the back of the helmet for adjusting the fitting. Read more.


August 27, 2020 CPSC and Morpher Warn Consumers to Stop Using and Dispose of Bicycle Helmets Due to Risk of Head Injury; Recalling Firm is Unable to Conduct Recall (Recall Alert)

This recall involves Morpher flat-folding bicycle helmets. They were sold in one size, fitting head circumference from 52 cm to 58 cm (20.5 to 22.8 inches). The helmets were sold with a storage bag and in the following solid or dotted colors: Gloss or matte black, gray, red, silver, white and yellow. The Morpher name and logo appear on both sides of the helmet. The Morpher logo appears on the back of the helmet. Read more.

This recall involves woom bikes USA children's helmets. The recalled helmets were sold in blue, green, purple, red and yellow and in size S (for small size). August 12, 2020 Active Brands Recalls Bicycle Helmets Due to Risk of Head Injury

This recall involves Active Brand AS Sweet Protection-branded Ripper Jr., Ripper MIPS Jr. and Ripper MIPS bicycle helmets. The Ripper Jr. and Ripper MIPS Jr. helmets were sold in one size, fitting head circumference from 48 cm to 53 cm (18.9 to 20.9 inches). The Ripper MIPS helmet was sold in one size, fitting head circumference from 53 cm to 61 cm (20.9 to 24.0 inches). The helmets were sold in matte colors: black, white, blue, gray, green, pink and purple. "Sweet Protection" is printed on the side of the helmets. All helmets have the manufacturing date printed inside the helmet with 2019 as the production year and a number between 9 and 12 as the production month. The model name is printed on a label on the rear back side of the helmet. The bicycle helmets are tested and certified according to the European standard for bicycle helmets, EN1078 and were only meant to be sold in the European market. Read more.


February 6, 2020 Rawlings Recalls Catcher's Helmets Due to Risk of Head Injury

This recall involves the Rawlings CHMACH-SR (Senior) Catchers Helmet. The recalled helmets have "MACH" printed on the hangtag originally attached to the helmet. "Rawlings" is printed on the side of the helmet and the "R" Rawlings logo is printed on the front center of the helmets with a gray chin strap. The plastic helmets were sold in two-tone color combinations including black/white (UPC 083321545504), green/white (UPC 083321545511), navy/white (083321545528) and red/white (UPC 083321545566). The UPC code is printed on the hangtag that was attached to the helmet at the time of sale. Inside of the helmet is a sticker that reads "CHMACH-SR-RevA." Read more.

This recall involves the T-51b Power Armor Helmet. The one-size fits-all helmet is constructed of ABS plastic and has a polyester/cotton blend fabric liner with elastic. The product name "T-51b" and "Power Armor Helmet" appears on the product packaging. Read more.


October 25, 2018 Shimano Recalls Bicycle Helmets Due to Risk of Head Injury

This recall involves Shimano's Lazer-branded bicycle helmets, models Blade, Elle, Jade and Magma. They were sold in the following matte or glossy colors and color combinations: black, black and pink, blue, dark blue, grey and yellow, khaki and orange, titanium, red, yellow, and white. Lazer is printed on the side of the helmet. Model LZB-08 is printed on a sticker inside the helmet. Only helmets in the sizes below are included in the recall. June 29, 2018 Helmets R Us Recalls Helmets Due to Risk of Head Injury (Recall Alert)

This recall involves Rollerblade-branded Helmets R Us helmets, used in schools' physical education programs. The recalled helmets are white and Rollerblade is printed on the side in black. They were manufactured from September 2011 through April 2017. Model 16, SK-501N and the manufactured date (in MM/YYYY format) are printed on a label on the inside of the helmet.
