December 4, 2014 Horizon Hobby Recalls HobbyZone Super Cub S Radio-Controlled Aircraft Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves the power supply and charger included exclusively with the HobbyZone Super Cub S Ready-To-Fly aircraft, model number HBZ8100 and the HobbyZone Super Cub S Bind-N-Fly model number HBZ8180. Aircraft model numbers are located on the packaging. The power supply is 2 ½ inches by 1 ¾ inches by 1 ¼ inches and is black with a blue label that reads "HobbyZone" and model "HBZ1004." The DC auxiliary charger is 5 inches by 2 ½ inches by 1 ¾ inches and is black with a blue label that reads, "HobbyZone" and model "HBZ1003." Read more.

The product is designed to be used with artists' watercolor paints in small amounts to improve flow and wetting. It is clear and of low viscosity and packaged in a 59 ml clear glass jar with a dropper lid. Product code of 7001000-2 appears on the label. August 1, 2014 PetSmart Recalls Top Fin Plastic Aquarium Heaters Due to Electrical Shock Hazard

This recall involves all 50-, 100-, 150-, 200- and 250-watt Top Fin brand plastic aquarium heaters. The heaters are black cylinders about 1 1/2 inches in diameter and about 13 inches tall. Recalled heaters have model number HT50, HT100, HT150, HT200 or HT250. Lot numbers for the recalled heaters are 1839, 1901, 1903, 1904, 1907, 1908 and 1910. "Top Fin," "Premium Aquarium Heater," the model number and the heater's wattage are printed on the side of the heater near the top. Below that, the lot number is printed beneath the words "Made in China." Read more.


June 26, 2014 Roland Recalls Digital Pianos Due to Electrical Shock Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves Roland model RD-800 Electronic Digital Pianos. The recalled product is an electronic piano keyboard that is 55 inches wide, 14.5 inches deep and 5.5 inches high. It is black and has 88 black and white keys. The front of the piano has a control panel with a color liquid crystal display (LCD) in the center. Pianos within the following serial number ranges are being recalled: Z6D0015 to Z6D0019 Z7D0174 to Z7D0423 Z8D1 056 to Z8D1255 Z9D2131 to Z9D2333 The model number is on the front left of the piano. "Roland" and the model number are in large type on the back of the piano. The serial number and model number are on a data plate on the right side of the rear of the piano between the XLR output connectors and the AC IN connector. Read more.


April 30, 2014 Horizon Hobby Recalls Blade 700 X Pro Series Helicopter Kits, Spindle Sets Due To Injury Hazard

This recall involves Blade 700 X Pro Series Kit, Pro Series Combo and the replacement spindle set. The kits and combos come with parts to assemble a radio-controlled helicopter. When assembled, the helicopter is about 53 inches long and 15.5 inches tall and weighs about 12 pounds. It has a blue, yellow, black and silver canopy with the 700 X logo on each side, two white skids, a black tail boom with the word Blade on each side, a tail rotor and a main rotor assembly with two blades. The rotor blades are black and gray with the word Revolution on each. The defective washer is flat and silver and about 1/2 inch in diameter. It is used to hold the two main rotor blade grips in place on the helicopter. The recalled Pro Series Kit is model number BLH5725 and includes the helicopter canopy and the mechanical parts necessary to build the helicopter without the main rotor blades or electronics. The recalled Pro Series Combo is model number BLH5725C and includes the helicopter canopy, the mechanical parts necessary to build the helicopter, the main rotor blades, a receiver, servos and motor. The recalled replacement spindle set is model number BLH5703 and includes two spindle shafts, two screws and four washers. Model numbers for the kit and combo are on the UPC label on one end of the product packaging. The model number for the spindle set is on the front of the packaging. Read more.


April 24, 2014 PetSmart Recalls Fish Bowls Due to Laceration Hazard

This recall involves the 1.75-gallon glass fish bowl that is shaped like a brandy snifter. These fish bowls were sold under the Great Choice or Top Fin brand names with SKU number 5140161 and UPC code 737257187092. The SKU and UPC codes are printed on a white sticker on the bottom of the fish bowl. Read more.


March 6, 2014 Canon Recalls to Repair PowerShot SX50 HS Digital Cameras

The PowerShot SX50 HS is a black compact digital camera. The words "PowerShot SX50 HS" are printed on the top of the camera. The affected cameras have serial numbers beginning with "69", "70" or "71" and have "1" as the sixth digit of the serial number. The serial number is on the side or bottom of the camera housing. March 26, 2013 West Music Recalls Egg-Shaker Toy Instruments Due to Choking and Aspiration Hazards

These recalled egg-shaker toy instruments are plastic, egg-shaped instruments sold in five colors: yellow, green, blue, red and purple. The toy instruments are about the size of small eggs and have a "Basic Beat" label printed on the front of the product. The product is marked for children ages 3 years and older but West Music is concerned with the possibility of the egg being used by or near a younger child. The toy instruments have Lot Number 0E0212 located on the bottom of the roundest part of the egg.

This recall involves tc electronic 250 W bass guitar amplifiers with model BH250 and serial numbers 1204763 through 12404375. The amplifiers are about 8.6 inches wide, 2.5 inches high and 9 inches deep and have a red front panel. The model and "tc electronic" are printed on the front of the amplifier. The serial number is located on a white sticker on the back of the amplifier.
