September 22, 2009- Gas Boilers Recalled by Bosch Thermotechnology Corp. Due to Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Hazard
The recall involves the Buderus GB312 gas-fired, floor standing condensing boilers. Model numbers included in this recall are: 312/90, 312/120, 312/160, 312/200, 312/240 and 312/280. “BUDERUS GB312” is printed on the front of the boiler. The boilers are blue, approximately 60 inches high and between 39 and 55 inches wide. July 9, 2009- Bosch Thermotechnology Recalls Boilers Due to Fire Hazard
The recalled Buderus GB142 is a gas-fired, wall-hung boiler. The boilers are white and designed to be mounted on walls. The black control drawer in the bottom center of the front of the boiler is marked “Buderus GB 142.” Boilers with a green sticker inside the control drawer are not included. The model numbers included in the recall are 142/24, 142/30, 142/45 and 142/60. Only models with date codes of 7246 through 7256 are included in the recall. The model number and date code are located on a label on the bottom left side of the boiler. October 9, 2008- Gas Vent Dampers Recalled by Effikal Due to Carbon Monoxide Hazard
The recall involves Effikal RVGP-PC Gas Vent Damper size 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 which are installed with the gas boiler systems listed below. The vent damper date code is located on a sticker under the motor assembly cap on the plastic base. Serial numbers are located on a label on the side of the damper’s cap. All sizes and models of the RVGP-PC have the same motor assembly with black Effikal caps and black plastic bases. October 2, 2008- Viessmann U.S. Recalls Boilers Due to Fire Hazard
The recall involves the Vitodens 200 boiler. The gas-fired boilers are white, wall-mounted and have “Viessmann” and “Vitodens 200” printed on the exterior in silver letters. The model and serial numbers included in the recall are listed below. The model number is located on the silver rating plate on the side of the boiler. Contact your certified HVAC contractor to open the boiler and locate the serial number on a white label on the side of the boiler, or under the bottom support panel. Vitodens 100 boilers are not included in this recall. September 11, 2008- PB Heat Recalls Gas Boilers Due to Carbon Monoxide Hazard
This recall involves the DE and PSC II Gas Fired Cast Iron Boilers with the Endura Plastics Model ES2035 pressure switch used for home heating and domestic hot water heating. The boilers were available in either natural or LP gas. The boiler rating label is located on the top jacket panel on Series PSCII models and the left side jacket panel on the Series DE models. The recall includes NTI Trinity gas-fired hot water boilers with model numbers Ti100, Ti150, Ti200 and Ti400. The boilers were manufactured between November 28, 2005 and January 8, 2007. The Ti100, Ti150 and Ti200 are wall-mounted units, and the Ti400 rests on the floor. The boilers are gray in color and "NTI" appears on the front cover. The model number and date of manufacture are located on the ID label inside the front cover of the boiler. March 19, 2007- Laars Heating Systems Recalls Gas Boilers and Water Heaters Due to Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Hazard
This recall involves Laars 9600 CB Condensing Heating Boilers and Laars 9600 HWG Condensing Water Heaters with black vent pipe/tubing. The recalled boilers are used to generate hot water for heating systems including baseboards or radiant flooring. The recalled water heaters generate hot water for use in homes, such as showers, sinks and dishwashers. "Mark II" and "9600 CB" or "9600 HWG" are printed on the front of the boilers and water heaters. The model number and BTU size are printed on the right side of the unit. The recalled boiler and water heater exteriors are putty and black-colored or taupe and black-colored. Only the following models are included in this recall. January 25, 2007- TAC LLC Recalls "Erie Boiler Boss" Boiler Controls for Scald Hazard
The recall includes all Erie Boiler Boss 2400 Operating Controls and Erie Boiler Boss 1200 Boiler Reset Controls. The controls are typically used to cycle the domestic or hydronic water system burner. The control is mounted in an enclosure mounted on or near the boiler. The recalled controls have a nameplate on the front of the enclosure with the system name and model number. A numerical LED display will be part of the nameplate. Affected BB2400 carton labels on uninstalled products will have date codes prior to 0523. Affected BB1200 carton labels on uninstalled controls will have date codes prior to 0647. No date code is stamped on installed products. |
