May 25, 2023 Bunch Bikes Recalls The Preschool Electric Bicycles Due to Violation of the Federal Lead Paint Ban; Lead Poisoning Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves the Preschool front-loading electric cargo tricycle that seats up to six children on bench-style seats in the passenger area. The recalled bikes are painted with a yellow exterior and black interior color with a high-gloss finish. The recalled bikes have the Bunch logo on the side of the passenger box and were sold as The Preschool 2020 edition starting in 2020, The Preschool and then The Preschool 3.0. The rear half of the frame uses rectangular tubing and the handlebars are mounted on both the left and right side of the passenger box. Read more.


May 18, 2023 Cycle Force Recalls Adult Bike Helmets Due to Risk of Head Injury (Recall Alert)

This recall involves Ventura Safety Adult Bike Helmets in size Medium (M), fitting a head circumference of about 21¼ to 22¾ inches, with model numbers 731434, 731436, 733192 or 733194. The model numbers are located on a manufacturer sticker inside the helmets. The recalled helmets were sold in white carbon, neon yellow and white/pink and white/orange color combinations. The helmets have a removable black visor, black straps and a black buckle. Ventura is written on the front of the helmet visor and on the left and right sides of the helmet. A factory production sticker is also located inside the helmet with a product code beginning with S-166 followed by the month/year of production (from October 2017 through January 2023). Read more.


May 18, 2023 Shimano Recalls PRO Vibe Alloy Stems for Road Bicycles Due to Crash and Injury Hazards (Recall Alert)

This recall involves PRO Vibe Stem (Alloy) model black bicycle stems for road bicycles. The PRO Vibe stems were sold separately and installed by bicycle stores. The recalled stems have a silver 'V' logo on the faceplate of the stem and the forward-facing mounting bolts. Read more.


May 11, 2023 Peloton Recalls Two Million Exercise Bikes Due to Fall and Injury Hazards

This recall involves Peloton Bikes with model number PL01. The Peloton Bike measures 4 ft. long x 2 ft. wide, and has an adjustable seat, handlebar, and screen, which tilts up and down to accommodate different heights. The Peloton name and the model number are displayed on the inside front fork, near the flywheel. Read more.


April 20, 2023 Rollerblade USA Recalls Youth In-Line Skates Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves Rollerblade Fury Black/White and Fury G Black/Pink youth inline skates. The skates were sold in three adjustable sizes, with ranges of 12J-2, 2-6 and 5-8. "Rollerblade" is printed on the frame of the skate, on the wheels and on the power strap. SKU number FURY B BKWH 07067000787 or FURY G BKPK 070671007Y9 is printed on the skate tongue label. This recall also includes the Fury brake support which was distributed as a service part. Read more.


April 20, 2023 Lucky Global Recalls Lelinta Multi-Purpose Kids Helmets Due to Risk of Head Injury; Sold Exclusively on Walmart.com (Recall Alert)

This recall involves the Lelinta multi-purpose kids helmets. The helmets were sold in pink and blue with elbow, knee and wrist guards in a mesh bag. The helmets have black straps and a black and red buckle. They were labeled as medium, fitting head circumferences from about 19.3 inches to about 21.7 inches. Model V-1906-S is printed on a label on the inside of the helmet. Read more.


March 30, 2023 JBM International Electric Recalls Adult Bike Helmets Due to Risk of Head Injury; Sold Exclusively on Amazon.com (Recall Alert)

This recall involves JBM International Adult Bike Helmets. The helmets are labeled as "free size," fitting a head circumference of about 22 ¾ to 24 ¼ inches. The helmets were sold in multiple color combinations: Black/Black, Pink/Black, Green/White, Yellow/Black, Orange/Black, Red /Black, Red/White, Black/White, Blue/White, Purple/Yellow, Silver. They have black and silver straps and a red buckle. "JBM" and an accompanying logo are printed on the sides of the helmet. Batch code JPG-89 is printed on a label on the inside of the helmet. The model and date can be found on a separate label on the inside of the helmet. Models JBM-A51, JBM-A53, JBM-A96, JBM-A97, JBM-A98, JBM-A99, JBM-A100, JBM-A101, JBM-A252, JBM-A253, JBM-A254, and JBM-A255 with production date 202110 are included in this recall. Read more.


March 30, 2023 Jetson Electric Bikes Recalls 42-Volt Rogue Self-Balancing Scooters/Hoverboards Due to Fire Hazard; Two Deaths Reported

This recall involves all 42-volt Jetson Rogue self-balancing scooters/hoverboards. The self-balancing scooters/hoverboards have two wheels with light up hubcaps and come in the following colors: black, blue, red, pink, and purple with a black platform. Jetson is printed on one side of the body and on the top of the footpads. Affected units were manufactured from 2018 through 2019 and have a UL certification label and serial number on the bottom of the unit. Affected units do not have a barcode on the bottom of the unit. Units with a barcode next to the serial number are not included in this recall. The charge port on affected units has three pins and is located to the left of the power button. Units with a charge port that has just one pin and is located to the right of the power button are not included in this recall. Read more.

This recall involves Open Cycle-branded bicycles, models U.P. Ekar, UPPER Ekar, WIDE Ekar and MIND Ekar; and all Open Cycle framesets using a Campagnolo hydraulic rear disc brake. They were sold in matte black, blue, gray, orange or a custom color. Only bicycles and framesets with Campagnolo hydraulic brakes and hoses are included in this recall. The "OPEN" logo is located on the top of the downtube and the model name on the top of the top tube, near the seat tube. Read more.

This recall involves the Cannondale Tesoro Neo X Speed electric bicycles (e-bikes). The e-bikes have an electric assist motor and are equipped with a horn, mirror, headlights and brake lights. "Cannondale" is printed on the sides of the top tube of the bicycle frame and on the sides of the seat.
