This recall involves Sandford Family 6-Player Croquet Sets branded with either Garden Games or Big Game Hunters on the storage bag. The set includes four adult mallets; two winning posts; one red and blue children's mallet; six balls, clips and hoops, and a storage bag. October 27, 2022 Goalsetter Recalls Wall-Mounted Basketball Goals Due to Serious Impact Injury Hazard and Risk of Death; One Fatality Reported

This recall involves all Goalsetter Adjustable and Fixed Wall Mount Series and GS Baseline Series 72-inch, 60-inch, 54-inch, and 48-inch wall-mounted goal systems. The basketball goals have a white Goalsetter logo (a white basketball to the left of the word "Goalsetter" printed in the lower left corner of the backboard). Read more.


September 22, 2022 SpaldingĀ® Momentous EZ Portable Basketball Goals Recalled by Russell Brands Due to Impact Injury Hazard

This recall involves Spalding Momentous EZ Assembly Portable Basketball Goals. The goals have a 50-inch or 54-inch acrylic clear backboard with a visible "H-frame" providing support behind the backboard, or a 54-inch acrylic clear backboard with aluminum trim, but no H-frame. All backboard styles are attached to a black metal pole with a black metal arm. "Spalding" is printed on the front of the black base and "6E" is molded on the back. The numbers 1010, 1011 or 1012 are printed to the right of the CAUTION statement on the front of the backboard. Read more.


February 6, 2020 Rawlings Recalls Catcher's Helmets Due to Risk of Head Injury

This recall involves the Rawlings CHMACH-SR (Senior) Catchers Helmet. The recalled helmets have "MACH" printed on the hangtag originally attached to the helmet. "Rawlings" is printed on the side of the helmet and the "R" Rawlings logo is printed on the front center of the helmets with a gray chin strap. The plastic helmets were sold in two-tone color combinations including black/white (UPC 083321545504), green/white (UPC 083321545511), navy/white (083321545528) and red/white (UPC 083321545566). The UPC code is printed on the hangtag that was attached to the helmet at the time of sale. Inside of the helmet is a sticker that reads "CHMACH-SR-RevA." Read more.


February 26, 2014 STX Recalls Shield Throat Protector Due to Laceration Hazard

This recall involves the STX Shield throat protector. The throat protector is black and has the letters "STX" engraved on the outer surface of the protector. It has straps attached by silver screws on each side and bottom of the protector to attach it to a lacrosse goalie's helmet below the helmet's chin guard. Read more.


January 28, 2014 Reebok-CCM Recalls Senior Hockey Elbow Pads Due to Risk of Elbow Injury

This recall involves the Reebok EP20K Senior (SR) Hockey Elbow Pads with, all-foam elbow caps. The pads are white with grey and black colored fabric. The word Reebok appears on the upper and lower arm sections of each elbow pad, and the words 20K PRO appears on the forearm of each pad. There are three Velcro brand closure bands on each elbow pad. The product code K101SR EP20K is located on the inside label of each elbow pad and on the outside of the polybag in which some products were packaged. The elbow pad comes in S, M, L and XL. May 2, 2013 Louisville Slugger OneX Fastpitch Softball Bats Recalled by Hillerich & Bradsby Due to Injury Hazard from Breakage

The recalled bats include all OneX style bats. The composite bat has a white and grey shell with blue and yellow lettering. "Louisville Slugger oneX" appears twice on the barrel, in yellow in one place and in blue lettering on the other side. The "X" is yellow in both places. Read more.


March 22, 2012 Lacrosse Helmets Recalled by Easton Sports Due to Facial Injury Hazard

This recall involves all Easton Raptor Lacrosse Helmets. “Easton” is printed on either side of the back of the helmet and on the jaw strap. “RAPTOR” is printed low on the back of the helmet in the center. The helmets were sold in sizes XS/S, M/L, and XL/XXL and were available in the following colors: white; matte black; silver; navy blue and white; royal blue and white; and red and white. Read more.


November 3, 2011 Under Armour Recalls Chin Straps for Football Helmets Due to Laceration Hazard

This recall involves all UA Defender Chin Straps. They were sold in the following colors: white and black, red, midnight, navy and royal and have a hard nylon shell, a padded chin area and a plastic strap with “Under Armour” printed on it. The chin straps have metal clasps that tighten the straps and attach them to the helmet. Read more.


July 6, 2011 Mizuno USA Inc. Recalls Baseball and Softball Gloves Due to Presence of Mold

The recalled items are leather Mizuno baseball and softball gloves. The gloves have a sewn-in white label on the heel of the glove with the words “Made in Vietnam” and the model number.
