The recall involves all model year 2005 900 Fusion, 900 RMK, 900 Switchback snowmobiles, and select model year 2006 600HO Fusion / RMK / Switchback, 900 Fusion / RMK / Switchback, FS Classic / Touring, and FST Classic / Touring / Switchback snowmobiles. The recall includes model year 2005 Polaris "900 Fusion," "900 RMK," and "900 Switchback" snowmobiles with model numbers: S05PL8DSD, S05PM8DS(A)(B), S05PN8DS, S05PS8DS, S05PM8DS(A)(B)(C), S05PL8DS(A)(B)(C). The snowmobile model and serial number identification decal is located on the right-front side decal of the tunnel. The serial number is permanently stamped into the tunnel and the model number is embossed on the decal. Read more.

The model number is located on the vehicle identification tag located on the right side near the foot rest. The "900 Fusion" and "900 RMK 151" snowmobiles have either red/black or blue/silver/black seats with a red, black, or blue hood. All 2004 Arctic Cat Firecat and Sabercat snowmobiles with red plastic skis are included in this recall. The recalled red plastic skis are part number 1703-500. July 6, 2004 Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. Recall of Ratchet Winch Kits, Sold as Accessory for Snowmobiles

The ratchet winch kit was sold as an accessory for the Elite model snowmobile and is used as a tow line if the snowmobile is immobilized. The ratchet kit is made of black metal and has a metal wheel with about a 5-inch diameter attached to a metal arm that measures about 9-inches in length. Read more.
