September 22, 2022 Pool and Spa Drain Covers Recalled Due to Violation of the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act; Imported by Chyir Myd; Sold Exclusively at Amazon.com (Recall Alert)

This recall involves the replacement round swimming pool main drain covers that are sold for use in pools and in-ground spas. The top grate is 7.28 inches in diameter and the bottom mounting plate is 8.11 inches in diameter. They are white and made of ABS plastic. The center of the grate reads, "SP-1030" and "148 GPM." "Use screws to keep grate secured to dram (drain) at all times" is printed on the outer ring of the grate. Read more.


March 25, 2021 Inyo Pool Products Recalls PureLine Pool Pump Motors Due to Fire Hazard; Sold Exclusively on inyopools.com (Recall Alert)

This recall involves two models of 1.5 HP electric motors that drive pool pumps sold under the PureLine brand name with model numbers PL1152 and PL2152. The PL1152 model has a round flange and the PL2152 has a square flange. The model number can be found on the white label on the top of the recalled motors. The motors are black. The PL1152 motors are 11-7/8 inches long and 5-1/2 inches in diameter. The PL2152 motors are 12-1/2 inches long and 6-1/2 inches in diameter. Read more.


July 10, 2019 Custom Molded Products Recalls Valve Caps Sold With Hot Tubs/Swim Spas Due to Impact Hazard

This recall involves 2-inch diverter valve caps sold with certain Master Spas "Twilight Series," "H2X Swim Spa," and "MP Signature Deep Swim Spa" hot tubs/swim spas. The model names are printed on the control panel covers. The clear valve caps are included as a component part and are located under the diverter handle on the upper deck of the hot tub/spa above the water line. Read more.


March 10, 2016 Anchor Industries Recalls Safety Pool Covers Due to Drowning Risk (Recall Alert)

This recall involves mesh and solid-material Anchor 5-Star, Anchor Mesh, Classic Solid and Defender Mesh brand custom safety pool covers. The covers' cables are connected to the pool wall using brass-plated snap hooks with a gold-tone spring tab, a seam and a hook end with a bezel. The date of manufacture appears on the warning label on the underside of each pool cover. Manufacture dates of "Sep 14," "Oct 14" and "Nov 14" are subject to the recall. "Manufactured by Anchor Industries, Inc." also appears on the label. Read more.


January 22, 2014 Nationwide Industries Recalls Trident Pool Gate Latches Due To Failure to Secure Hazardous Areas

The recalled magnetic gate latches are 10" or 20" models in black or white. They are marked with the "Trident" name and image on the face of the latch body below the key hole. The latch body, which is typically attached to a fence post, contains a knob and a key cylinder on the uppermost portion and a recessed area on the bottom portion designed to engage and retain the striker. The striker, which contains the magnet, is typically attached to the active gate portion of a fence gate assembly, and moves with the gate as it is opened and closed.
