The hooded, long sleeve sweatshirts have full-length zippers and drawstrings along the neck line. The products are sold under the Seattle Cotton Works brand in six different designs. March 3, 2009 Children's Flip Flops Recalled by Alpargatas Due to Violation of Lead in Paint Standard

Flip flops of the Havaianas brand containing decorative paint were sold under the following model names: Baby Estampas, Baby Pets, Kids Apple, Kids Fairy, Kids Flores, Kids Lighthouse, Kids Monsters, Kids Surf, Baby Letrinhas, Kids Sports, Kids Candies, Kids Fun, Kids Love, Kids Sereias, Kids Speed, Kids Lucky Bug, Kids Pets, Kids Rock, Kids Slim, Kids Wonder Woman, Kids Small Flowers and Kids Tropical w/Kit. February 4, 2009 Children's Hooded Sweatshirts Recalled by Jerry Leigh of California Due to Strangulation Hazard

This recall involves the Harajuku Lovers Hooded Jackets with the RSL Hoodie & Lovers Leopard styles. The RSL Hoodie style has numerous pictures of girls riding motor scooters and the words “ready steady love” printed on it. The Lovers Leopard style has a leopard design in grey and black.“Harajuku Lovers” is printed on a tag sawn next to the care label. Read more.


January 29, 2009 L.L. Bean Recalls Ice Cleats Used During Winter Weather Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves Stabilicers Lite cleats with model number BNX9. The cleats are worn over footwear for traction in winter walking conditions. The recalled cleats were sold in blue, orange, and pink. Black Stabilicers Lite cleats are not included in this recall. The cleats were sold in sizes small through extra large. The name Stabilicers Lite appears in raised letters on the underside of the harness. Read more.

This recall involves a necklace with a “skull-and-crossbones” symbol and a metal clasp. The skull has eleven pieces of rhinestones on its forehead and one rhinestone on both ends of the crossbones. Read more.


January 28, 2009 Outdoor Research Recalls Warming Gloves Due to Burn Hazard

The recalled winter gloves are black-colored and have a battery-powered heating element. The gloves included in the recall are style number 77000 (men’s) in sizes S, M, L, XL, and style number 77010 (women’s) in sizes S, M, L. The recall involves the following skateboard-themed boy’s pajama sets: “Boards Estate” (item # TH005LSB), “Heathen Skull” (item #TH006BSB), “Backspray” (item #TH007GSB) and “Stix Jester” (item #TH008RSB).
