May 21, 2009 Girl's Hooded Sweatshirts Recalled by Ely and Walker Due to Strangulation Hazard

This recall involves Cumberland Outfitters girl’s hooded sweatshirts with drawstrings. The sweatshirts were sold in four colors (melon, white, purple, and turquoise) and in sizes XS to L. Graphic designs such as a horse, vine or flower are printed on the front and back of the sweatshirts. RN number 14119 and one of the following style numbers are printed on the care label: 561560EC, 561565CO, 561570RA and 561575TU. Read more.


May 7, 2009 Children's Hooded Jackets with Drawstrings Recalled by Jason Evans Associates Due to Strangulation Hazard

The recalled children’s jacket has a drawstring through the hood. They were sold in boy sizes 4, 5, 6 and 7 in colors black/grey. The RN number 30842 printed in the center back neck and style number 1708 is printed on the hangtag on the center back neck. Read more.

April 30, 2009 Gap Recalls Children's Coats; Toggles Can Break and Detach Posing Choking Hazard

This recall involves three different children’s coat styles with toggles including Rose Toggle Hoodie (style 600298), Pink Duffle Coat (style 600344), and Blue Plaid and Mojave Toggle Coat (style 600942). The coats were sold in infant sizes up to 24 months and are made of cotton, polyester, or polyester/acrylic. The toggles are light tan plastic and about 1 3/4 inches long. Read more.

The boys hooded fleece sweatshirts were sold with the following names and style numbers printed along with the RN# 123549 located on the country of origin and care label in the center back neck: Industrial R48210106, Continue R48210105, Warp R48210122, and Enuff R38203012. All styles were sold in sizes S-XL and came in a variety of prints and colors including stripes and plaids. Read more.

February 4, 2009 Children's Hooded Sweatshirts Recalled by Jerry Leigh of California Due to Strangulation Hazard

This recall involves the Harajuku Lovers Hooded Jackets with the RSL Hoodie & Lovers Leopard styles. The RSL Hoodie style has numerous pictures of girls riding motor scooters and the words “ready steady love” printed on it. The Lovers Leopard style has a leopard design in grey and black.“Harajuku Lovers” is printed on a tag sawn next to the care label. Read more.
