September 30, 2008 Wal-Mart Recalls General Electric Toasters Due to Fire and Shock Hazards

The recalled toasters have a chrome steel body, a black plastic base and controls with either two or four openings in the top. The GE logo is located on the front of the toasters just above the controls. Model numbers 169115 and 169116 are included in this recall. The model number is printed on the bottom of the toasters. September 23, 2008 Euro-Pro and QVC Recall Deep Fryers Due to Burn Hazard

The recalled fryers include QVC Cook Essentials 3 Liter Stainless Steel Deep Fryers with three baskets. The fryers were sold as item number K14942. Model number F1053Q is printed on a sticker on the bottom of the fryers. Read more.


September 3, 2008 Wolf Appliance Recalls Gas Ranges Due to Burn Hazard

This recall involves the following Wolf Appliance 48-Inch gas ranges with model numbers: P48, PS48 and R48. The gas ranges are stainless steel with a double oven. A “Wolf” appliance logo is on the front of the larger oven door. Read more.


August 28, 2008 Countertop Water Dispensers Recalled by Greenway Home Products Due to Fire and Shock Hazards

The recalled countertop water dispensers include the following Vitapur, Greenway and Polar models. They dispense hot or cold water and use three or five gallon water bottles. The model name is printed on the front of the dispenser’s base. Model and serial numbers are printed on a white label on the back of the dispenser’s base. File number 218326 is printed on a silver sticker on the back of the dispenser’s base. Read more.


August 26, 2008 Coffee Makers Recalled by Sears Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

This recall involves 12-cup Kenmore coffee makers sold in black, white, and red with the following model numbers: 100.80006 (black), 100.81006 (white), and 100.82006 (red). The recall also involves 12-cup Kenmore Elite coffee makers with thermal carafe (model number 100.90007) and 14-cup Kenmore Elite coffee makers (model number 100.90006). The model number can be found on the bottom of the unit. There is a Kenmore or Kenmore Elite logo on the front bottom of the maker. Read more.


August 7, 2008 Atico International USA Recalls Personal Blenders Due to Laceration Hazard

This recall involves the Signature Gourmet™ (item number W14A3691) and the Crofton® (model number SB-19) personal blenders. The blenders are white and have 3 components parts – a base containing a power button, a blade assembly, and a blending cup. Signature Gourmet™ or Crofton® is printed on the front of the base of the unit. “SB-19” or “W14A3691” is located on a label at the bottom of the unit. Read more.


May 20, 2008 Frigidaire Canada Recalls Kenmore Wall Ovens Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

This recall involves Kenmore 24-inch-wide gas and propane, wall-mounted ovens. The self-cleaning ovens were sold in white, black, bisque and stainless steel, and have the Kenmore name printed on the oven control panel. The model and serial numbers of the ovens that are part of this recall can be found on the frame on the left side of the oven cavity. Read more.


May 8, 2008 Baby Bottle and Food Warmers Recalled by Munchkin Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves the Munchkin Deluxe Bottle and Food Warmer with Pacifier Cleaning Basket 2-in-1 Design, model #13301 and lot number TP-1487. The product is used to warm food and bottles of various sizes. The set includes a main basket, a lift-out basket, an adapter ring, and a measuring cup. “Munchkin” is located on the front of the warmer and “TP-1487” is located on the bottom. April 24, 2008 Waxcessories Recalls Electric Simmer Pots Due to Risk of Fire and Shock

The electric simmer pots were sold in a variety of styles and were designed to melt scented wax in a ceramic cup. The cup sits on a ceramic base that contains a 40-watt bulb, socket and electric cord. The recall includes all designs of the electric simmer pots and all item numbers. The words “ELECTRIC SIMMER POT” and the design name are printed on the bar code label, which is located on the bottom of the base.
