September 7, 2005 Ultimate Chopper LLC Recall to Inspect and Replace Food Processors

The Ultimate Chopper is a compact, single-speed food processor that can also function as a blender when an optional attachment is used with the base. The product is comprised of a white base unit with a 600 watt motor (750 watts peak power), a plastic blade assembly that contains two stainless steel blades, a chopping bowl, and a clear, interlocking lid. August 19, 2005 West Bend Housewares LLC Recall of Coffeemaker Carafes

The carafe is a 10-cup capacity glass pot with a black, plastic handle. It is used with the West Bend Housewares 10-cup Automatic Coffeemaker (item # 56870). The 10-cup replacement carafe was sold separately (item # 5815). There is a four-digit date code printed on the bottom of the coffeemaker. Date codes beginning with 04 are included in this recall. July 29, 2005 The Holmes Group Expands Recall of Slow Cookers

The recall includes Rival® Crock-Pot® slow cookers with model numbers 3040, 3735, 5025, 5070 and 5445. The model number is printed on the UL label located on the bottom of the base. The recalled Rival® slow cooker has a removable ceramic bowl that sits inside of a metal base. The Rival® logo is printed on the front of the unit above the control knob. The bases are round or oval shaped and were sold in various colors and designs. A date code is stamped on the side of one prong of the power plug. The first two digits represent the week of manufacture and the last two digits represent the year of manufacture. Any plug with a date code from 0199 (1st week of 1999) to 3504 (35th week of 2004) is included in this recall or the previous recall. Read more.


June 29, 2005 LG Electronics and Sears, Roebuck and Co. Recall to Repair Refrigerators

The recalled refrigerators are three-door, 21 to 25 cubic foot units with a bottom freezer. The refrigerators come in titanium, stainless steel, bisque, white or black. Brand names are identified on the door at the top right of the units and the interior data plate. June 10, 2005 Bunn-O-Matic Recall of Home Coffeemakers

The recall involves Bunn® home coffeemakers with model numbers GR-10B, GR-10W, B-10B, B-10W, and BT-10B (including any of those same model numbers ending in the additional letter D) with six-digit date codes ending in "01," "02," or "03." Also involved in the recall are the same models with dates codes ending in "04" and middle digits between "01" and "21." (If the date code has a seventh digit, consumers should ignore the last digit and use the first six digits.) The model number and date code are stamped on a small white or silver sticker on the bottom of the coffeemaker. The 10-cup Bunn® coffeemakers have either a black or white plastic base and top, and measure 14 ¼-inches high by 7-inches wide by 13 ¾-inches deep. June 2, 2005 Whirlpool Recall of KitchenAid Coffeemakers

The recalled KitchenAid® coffeemakers are black, white, red, or blue in color. They are manufactured in 10- and 12-cup models.
