March 17, 2010 Mobile Power Packs Recalled By Tumi Due to Fire Hazard

The recalled Mobile Power Pack is a mobile device that receives an AC charge in a compact battery pack that will then give five DC charges to small electronic devices including mobile phones, MP-3 players, Blackberries, and PDAs. The power pack is black and silver and is rectangular in shape. The front of it has a small circular control panel. The front also displays the word “Tumi” engraved on a silver button located towards the bottom of the device. Style number 14362 is printed on the power pack packaging. Read more.


August 11, 2009 Wii(tm) Battery Recharge Stations Recalled by Griffin International Due to Burn and Fire Hazards

The Wii 4-Dock Recharge Station includes a white docking station with four recharge stations and a four rechargeable battery pack. Brand names are on the front of the packaging and the model numbers, Psyclone (PSE6501) and React (RT530), can be found on the bottom side of the product. Read more.

October 23, 2008 Gaming System Batteries and Recharging Station Recalled by LeapFrog Due to Burn Hazard

The Recharging Station comes with two rechargeable batteries, an AC adapter, and a recharging base. The recharging base is white with a green indicator light on the bottom. The Recharging Station for Didj was sold as item number 30676, which is printed on the box and on the bottom of the recharging base. Read more.


October 15, 2008 Fujifilm Recalls Battery Chargers Due to Shock Hazard

The recalled BC-50 battery chargers were included with the Fujifilm FinePix F100fd digital cameras and are identified by the production lot codes “WCAA” and “WCAB”, which can be located on the back of the battery charger unit, in the lower, right-hand corner. The battery chargers were also sold separately as an optional accessory for the FinePix F100fd and F50fd digital cameras and have production lot codes of “WBAD” and “WFBA”. Battery chargers packaged with the Fujifilm Finepix F50d digital cameras are not included in the recall. Read more.


October 8, 2008 Coby Electronics Recalls Rechargeable Batteries Sold with Portable DVD/CD/MP3 Players Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves batteries with serial numbers listed below sold with the TF-DVD 1020 portable DVD/CD/MP3 players. The battery’s serial number can be found on a white sticker affixed to it. The product looks like a small laptop computer and has a 10” swivel TV screen. “COBY” is written on the front cover and under the screen. “TF-DVD 1020” can be found on the bottom of the unit. October 25, 2007 Alltrade Tools Recalls Power Tool Battery Chargers Due to Burn and Laceration Hazards

The recall includes battery chargers sold with certain model numbers of both 19.2 and 21.6 volt NiCad battery packs. The battery model number is located on a label on the bottom of the battery pack. April 6, 2006 Rechargeable Battery Packs Sold with MAX Wireless Conference Phones Recalled for Burn Hazard

The battery is included as a power source for the MAX Wireless Conference Phone Models 910-158-001 and 910-158-070. The model number is located on the product ID label on the underside of the MAX Wireless Conference Phone Pod. The phone is black, six-sided and has a domed speaker in the center. "Clear One Max" is written on the top of the phone. The recalled battery pack is green and is located in the battery compartment on the underside of the Max phone pod. The recall involves the TWD rechargeable nickel metal hydride battery pack with model number TH-AA2200. The battery pack's model number "TH-AA2200," "TWD NI-MH Battery," and "7.2v AA2200mAH" are printed on the side of the battery. The battery pack is also sold separately. Read more.
