June 20, 2024 Cinmar Recalls Frontgate Chaise Lounge Chairs Due to Finger Crushing and Amputation Hazards

This recall involves all Cinmar Frontgate Resort Collection Newport Aluminum Chaises (SKU 67333), sold in sets of two and in five different colors: architectural bronze, champagne silver, cobalt, matte black and matte white; and Frontgate Resort Collection Newport Teak Chaises (SKU 166218), sold in sets of two in weathered and natural finishes. The chaises are reclining outdoor lounge chairs measuring about 51 inches long and 31 inches wide, with a powder-coated aluminum or teak frame, a chaise-style seat, and a backrest made of mesh. The chaises have an adjustable backrest that reclines to four positions, from upright to fully reclined. "FRONTGATE" is printed in black lettering on a silver badge at the back of the chair. December 21, 2023 TJX Recalls Foldable Wood and Rope Bistro Set Chairs Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves foldable wood and rope bistro set chairs sold as part of a three- or five-piece set. Some of the sets were sold under Nautica or House & Garden brands. The folding chair sets consist of one small wooden table and two or four foldable chairs made with wood frames, and rope on the seat and back in either gray, turquoise, brown, sand, black, aqua, pink, green, taupe or white, and a gold bar supporting the back legs. Some chairs were sold individually at stores. The chairs were also sold online labeled as three-piece handcrafted in Vietnam and three-piece HD Furniture Group indoor-outdoor rope and Acacia Wood Bistro Table and Chairs Set. Read more.


September 14, 2023 TJX Recalls Foldable Bistro Set Chairs Due to Fall Hazard; Sold at Marshalls, T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods and Homesense Stores

This recall involves wooden folding chairs sold as part of three-piece foldable bistro sets under the Panama Jack and House & Garden brands. The sets consist of one small wooden table and two foldable chairs made with wood frames and black, anthracite, navy blue, beige, olive green, or off-white roping on the seat and back. They have either a Panama Jack or House & Garden hangtag that includes the chair and table dimensions and "Made in Vietnam." January 26, 2022 Family Dollar Recalls Beach Loungers Due to Injury Hazard

This recall involves beach lounge chairs with a white metal frame and either red or blue woven plastic fabric. The lounge chairs have a hang tag intended to be removed after purchase stating "Outdoors by Design" on one side and "Distributed by Midwoods Brands LLC" on the other side, along with either SKU 3499631 or SKU 3401281 above the bar code. In addition, SKU 3499631 has a sewn-in label stating "Outdoors by Design" at the top and "Midwoods Brands LLC" near the bottom, and SKU 3401281 has a sewn-in label stating "WARNING" and "DO NOT REMOVE THIS TAG" near the top and "MADE IN CHINA" at the bottom. This recall involves SONOMA Goods For Life-branded Ultimate Oversized Antigravity Chairs in numerous colors. The chairs have an aluminum frame, a fabric seat/back, and a removable head pillow that is attached with Velcro. The tubes of the aluminum legs are square. The eyelets attaching the fabric to the frame are covered with fabric and are not visible from the top of the chair. There is a sewn-in tag on the fabric on the seat of the chair. Read more.

This recall involves outdoor wooden folding chairs with armrests, in an oil stain finish, some of which were labeled with "Nautica" on the hang tag. The chairs measure about 22.5 inches long, 21 inches wide and 35 inches tall. The chair back has 8 slats and the seat has 7 slats. The chair may be stamped "MADE IN VIETNAM." Read more.
