May 12, 2009 Lumetique Recalls Botanika Candles Due to Fire Hazard

The recalled candles were sold under the DayNa Decker “Botanika” brand in 16 ounce green glass vessels, 4 inches wide by 5 inches high. Botanika candles in the smaller 3 ounce and 6 ounce sizes are not included in the recall. The words “DayNa Decker” and “Bacara,” “Bardou,” “Clementine,” “Indigo,” “Leila,” “Manzanita,” “Sierra,” “Violetta,” “Yasmin” or “Zelia” appear on the bottom of the glass vessel. Read more.


March 3, 2009 Seventh Avenue Recalls Tealight Candleholders Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves a wire formed tealight candleholder with ball feet. The sides have small and large round resin accents in amber and red. The holder holds up to five tealight candles (included). The model number is 609073 located on the original packaging. Read more.


December 23, 2008 Gardener's Supply Company Recalls Candle-Powered Carousels Due to Fire Hazard

The recalled candle carousels are made of yellow pine and stainless steel and measure about 9 inches in diameter by 13 inches high. The candle measures about 4 inches high. The candle carousels generate heat which rotate the fan blade and can cause the center platform to spin. The carousel is made of wood with cutouts of trees and deer. Read more.

This recall involves Anthropologie tin candles. The candles were sold in the following four fragrances; Amber Woods - Model #14987044, Black Lilac - Model #14987093, Figue Tree - Model #14987085 and Red Currant – Model #14987051. This recall involves Everlasting Jelly candles. Models include Champagne Glass with Heart, Model #502; Large Oval Bowl with Sand & Shells, Model #109-XL; Tumbler with Sand & Shells, Model #101-S; Round Shape with Curly Top and Red Roses, Model #506; Round Shape with Penguins, Model #604; Tumbler with Blue Roses & Leaves, Model #805-11; and Round Shape with Two Butterflies, Model #806-8. The candles were sold in clear glass containers of various sizes with a smaller glass of gel in the middle of the candle. Read more.
