Recalls: Electric Blenders
This recall involves all Ascent and Venturist Series 8-ounce blending containers, 20-ounce blending containers, and blade bases, including those that were repaired as part of a previous recall in August 2018. The clear containers and black blade bases are included with certain Vitamix Venturist and Ascent Series blenders, such as the Venturist V1200, Ascent A2300, Ascent A2500, Ascent A3300, and Ascent A3500 blenders; and also sold separately, as sets, or bundles in various configurations. This recall involves BlendJet 2 Portable Blenders sold in a variety of colors and designs. Serial numbers are printed on the bottom of the base along with "blendjet2" and "The Original Portable Blender." The blenders measure approximately 9.5 inches in height and 3 inches in width and weigh approximately 1.5 pounds. Units where the first 4 digits of the serial number are between 5201-5542 and are subject to the recall must be identified through the use of the "Is my BlendJet 2 Recalled?" tool located at www.blendjet.com/safetyandrecall. This recall involves certain Cuisinart compact blender and juice extractor combos with model number CBJ-450. The model number is printed on the label located on the bottom of the base and on the original packaging. The blades are silver-colored stainless steel and have a black plastic center hub. This recall involves the Beaba Babycook Neo Midnight and Cloud baby food makers. The Babycook Neo is A/C powered and steams and blends food. It measures about 9 inches wide and 9 inches high with a detachable glass bowl. The Midnight is dark blue with a white handled glass bowl with the reference number 912645 on the bottom. The Cloud is white with a gray handled glass bowl with the reference number 912646 on the bottom. Read more.
This recall involves Ascentâ„¢ and Venturistâ„¢ series 8-ounce and 20-ounce blending containers with blade date codes March 2018 ("03-18") or earlier. Date codes are in the format MM-YY; for example, March 2018 is "03-18." If the blade base is marked on the bottom with a green or orange dot, the container has already been repaired. The Vitamix logo is printed on the blending container. The blade date code is laser-etched onto the top of the blade in the blade base. The products have a clear container and a black blade base and were sold separately and with Vitamix Venturistâ„¢ Model 1200 blenders. Read more.
This recall involves the riveted blades in Cuisinart food processors with model numbers that begin with the following: CFP-9, CFP-11, DFP-7, DFP-11, DFP-14, DLC-5, DLC-7, DLC-8, DLC-10, DLC-XP, DLC-2007, DLC-2009, DLC-2011, DLC-2014, DLC-3011, DLC-3014, EV-7, EV-10, EV-11, EV-14, KFP-7 and MP-14. The model number is located on the bottom of the food processor. The blades have four rivets and are silver-colored stainless steel and have a beige plastic center hub. This recall involves CocoaVia brand brown frothers used to froth beverages, including coffee and milk. The spring on the end of the wand spins to froth the drink. The frothers were distributed free at promotional events. The frothers are brown, "CocoaVia" is printed on the side in white lettering and they measure about eight inches long. This recall only involves CocoaVia brand frothers that are brown in color. Read more.
This recall involves 12 models of Ninja professional blenders with model numbers that start with BL 660, BL 663 or BL 665. The model number is in the rating label that is molded into the bottom of the motor base. The 12 affected model numbers are: BL 660's: BL660, BL660B, BL660C, BL660QCN, BL660QPL, BL660W, BL660WM BL 663's: BL663, BL663CO BL 665's: BL665QBK, BL665QCN, and BL665QWH All of these models have a clear 72-ounce pitcher with a removable gray or black lid that opens and locks closed, a stacked blade assembly, and one or more Nutri Ninja cups. All recalled models have a motor base that is gray, white, black, cinnamon, or platinum. The power of the models' motors varies from 1,000 to 1,200 watts. The recalled models may have been sold with additional accessories, including a 40- or 64-ounce bowl, a chopping blade assembly, or a dull dough blade assembly. Read more.
The recalled blender is the Kenwood Blend-X PRO, BLM800. The glass jar has a glass handle and a black plastic lid and sits on a gray power unit with a motor and user control panel. On the front lower portion of the base is the Kenwood logo on a silver plate. On the bottom of the blender's base, the rating label of recalled units has Type BLM80 and a date code ranging from 14X01 to 15X22 ("X" being any letter) stamped on the label. Read more.
This recall involves Calphalon XL 9 speed blenders, model 1832449, also identified as model ME600BL. The model number is located on the underside of the blender's base. The blender consists of a 5-inch tall, brushed-aluminum base with cord storage, the Calphalon logo in black letters at the front, and nine black/white speed selectors with labeling, plus the power button. It also has a clear 56-ounce glass pitcher with a handle and U.S. and metric volume measurement markings; a black plastic lid with a removable clear plastic lid stopper/measuring cup; and a metal blade assembly with six-sided, stainless steel blades.
