Recalls: Electric Heaters

This recall involves Dayton 240/208 volt model 3UG82D electric baseboard heaters. The white, rectangular heaters are 30 inches long by 6 3/4 inches high by 2 7/8 inches deep. A nameplate on the bottom right side of the base has "Dayton Electric Mfg. Co.," model 3UG82D and date code 1209. Only heaters purchased after December 21, 2009 with a date code of "1209" are included in this recall. The recalled heaters have yellow and white wires inside the panel where the heater connects to the power source. Heaters with red and black wire are not included in this recall. Read more.

This recall involves Goodman single package gas-electric heating and cooling units with model numbers GPG13480901AC, GPG13481151AC, GPG13600901BB, GPG13601151BB, and GPG13601401BB, and with serial numbers beginning 0712, 0801, and 0802. This recall involves electric oscillating tower heaters with the name “Aloha Breeze” printed on the top. The white heaters have model number 02044 and dates codes 06/06, 06/07, 06/08 or 06/09. This recall involves 1500 watt oscillating ceramic heaters model EB38005. The heater has a white plastic housing with the name "Heat-Wave" in black on its top. A label on the bottom of the product contains the model and the control number "ETL 3090262." Read more.

The recall involves electric, toe-space heaters typically installed in kitchens and bathrooms at floor level in the recessed space under cabinets. The recall includes Berko Electric catalog numbers TS, TS-1 and TS-1A and Emerson Electric "Chromalox Comfort Heating" and "Environmental Products" catalog number KSH2000. The heater is controlled by a wall thermostat or a thermostat mounted on the front of the heater. The heater has a removable, black metal grille that measures 23 1/2 -inches wide and 3 1/2 -inches tall with five sets of openings, each with seven horizontal louvers. Read more.
