Recalls: Electric Lawn Mowers
This recall involves the docking station supplied with the STIHL iMOW, an autonomous battery-powered lawn mower. The docking stations are gray and orange. "iMOW" is displayed on the top of the mower and "STIHL" is displayed on the top of the mower and the top of the docking station. The recalled docking station's serial number is located on a label at the base of the docking station. The following models and serial numbers are included in this recall. This recall involves Bush Hog Zero Turn Radius (ZTR) HDE riding lawn mowers sold in black with gray wheels and gray rollover protection structures (ROPs). HDE is printed on the left side of the unit beneath the seat. The mowers were manufactured on or before August 4, 2017. The manufacturing date is located on a plate on the right rear frame, underneath the fender. The 15-digit serial number includes the manufacture date in digits 9-11. Recalled mowers have a date code that represents the number of days since the beginning of the calendar year of 001 through 216 (January 1 through August 4). Mowers with a yellow bolt fastening the blade to the spindle have already been repaired. Read more.
This recall involves Kobalt and Greenworks brands of cordless electric walk-behind lawn mowers. The recalled lawn mowers have four wheels (two smaller ones in the front and two larger ones in the back), a 40-volt max lithium ion battery and a deck width of 20 inches. Both models have a large label on the rear bag door area with a serial number, model number and date code. The Kobalt brand mowers also have an item number on the label. "Kobalt" or "Greenworks" is printed on the side of the bag. The following models are included in the recall. This recall involves GreenWorks 12-amp electric blower/vacs. The blower/vacs have a green motor housing and a black blower tube and restrictor nozzle. They measure 12 inches high and 34 inches long. Recalled blower/vacs have model number 24022 with a serial number between GWS0350001 through GWS2280500 or model number 24072 with a serial number between GWR1310001 through GWS2281100. The model number, serial number, "greenworks" and "ELECTRIC BLOWER/MULCHER WITH BAG" are printed on the side of the motor housing. Model 24022 has a two-speed switch. This recall involves Earthwise cordless electric push lawn mowers with a 17-inch mowing deck. The recalled mowers have a silver motor housing and deck with a side discharge chute, a black foldable handle and a bright green bail lever, height adjustment lever and handle knobs. The mowers have a 24-volt removable, rechargeable battery. Brand name "Earthwise" and "17" appear on the front of the mowers. Model number 60517 is on the name plate on the back of the motor cover. The recalled lawnmowers were sold under the NEUTON® name and carry model number EM 4 1 NEUTON® printed on the front portion of the lawnmower. The lawnmowers are two shades of green and have a 14-inch cutting width with rear bagging capability. The serial number ranges of the recalled mowers are CE4049212 through CE4054902 and CE4061492 through CE4071541. The serial number can be found by lifting the rear discharge guard of the mower.
