April 2, 2009 Radio Transmitters for Model Aircrafts Recalled by Horizon Hobby Due to Impact and Laceration Hazards

The recalled Spektrum DX6i radio transmitters are used to control model airplanes and helicopters. “Spektrum DX6i” is printed on the front of the transmitters. The transmitters were sold individually or as part of three different ready-to-fly model aircraft. Item numbers and product date codes included in this recall are listed below. The item number is located on the product’s packaging. The date code is located on a label inside the transmitter’s battery compartment or on the underside of the battery compartment door. March 26, 2009 Lenovo Recalls ThinkVision Speaker AC Adaptors Due to Shock Hazard

Lenovo sold the AC Adaptors as part of the ThinkVision Soundbar option. The FRU part number 89P8571 with date code 200810 is located on the back of the adaptor. Read more.

March 19, 2009 Desktop Computers Recalled By Acer America Corp. Due to Overheating, Burn Hazard

This recall involves Acer Predator desktop computers. The high-end gaming machines have model numbers ASG7200 and ASG7700. Model numbers are printed on the bottom right corner of the panel on the right side of the system. Read more.

March 3, 2009 Frontrow Recalls to Replace Rechargeable Batteries Sold with PA System Microphones Due to Burn Hazard

The recalled 2400-mAH NIMH batteries are used in the 930TM, 930HT and 940TM public announcement system microphones. Only batteries with part number 374-30-400-00, printed on the light green sleeve of the battery, are included in the recall. Read more.

February 27, 2009 Certain LG 830 "Spyder" Cell Phones Recalled For Upgrade Due to Dropped Connection or Poor Connection on Emergency 911 Calls

February 5, 2009 Intermatic Recalls Digital Timers Due to Shock Hazard

The recalled Intermatic DT17 heavy-duty digital timers are lamp and appliance timers. They were packaged as the “DT17C Heavy Duty Digital Timer” and the “DT17C8 Heavy Duty Digital Timer.” The timer is white-colored and measures 3 3/8” tall x 2 5/8” wide x 1 5/8” deep. Only products with date codes of “40Z” through “52Z” or date codes ending in “A,” “B” or “C” are included in the recall. The brand name “Intermatic” is molded on the front of the timer, and the model number (“DT17”) and date code are printed on the back of the timer. Read more.

January 27, 2009 Milestone AV Technologies Recalls Television Wall Mounts Sold Exclusively At Best Buy; Unit Can Crack, TV Can Fall On Consumers

November 13, 2008 Cobra Electronics Recalls Children's Two-Way Radios with Rechargeable Batteries Due to Chemical Burn Hazard; Sold Exclusively in Toys "R" Us Stores

The recall involves two-way radios with the 300 mah “CEL” batteries. The walkie talkie style radios are made of pink plastic and come in purple packaging. Product number PR191-2VP is located on the front of the packaging and on the label inside the battery compartment. The batteries are standard AAA Nickle Metal Hydride battery cells with a black wrapper with the battery name 300 mah (CEL) with the date code (TF or RF) on the battery itself. Read more.

October 30, 2008 DYMO Recalls Power Adapters Sold with DYMO Printers Due to Burn Hazard

This recall involves the external power adapters sold with the following DYMO LabelWriter® 400 series printers: DYMO LabelWriter 400, DYMO LabelWriter 400 Turbo, DYMO LabelWriter Twin Turbo, DYMO LabelWriter Duo and DYMO Desktop Mailing Solution with housing date codes 2407, 2507, 2607 or 2707.
