March 3, 2009 Frontrow Recalls to Replace Rechargeable Batteries Sold with PA System Microphones Due to Burn Hazard

The recalled 2400-mAH NIMH batteries are used in the 930TM, 930HT and 940TM public announcement system microphones. Only batteries with part number 374-30-400-00, printed on the light green sleeve of the battery, are included in the recall. Read more.

February 5, 2009 Intermatic Recalls Digital Timers Due to Shock Hazard

The recalled Intermatic DT17 heavy-duty digital timers are lamp and appliance timers. They were packaged as the “DT17C Heavy Duty Digital Timer” and the “DT17C8 Heavy Duty Digital Timer.” The timer is white-colored and measures 3 3/8” tall x 2 5/8” wide x 1 5/8” deep. Only products with date codes of “40Z” through “52Z” or date codes ending in “A,” “B” or “C” are included in the recall. The brand name “Intermatic” is molded on the front of the timer, and the model number (“DT17”) and date code are printed on the back of the timer. Read more.

November 13, 2008 Cobra Electronics Recalls Children's Two-Way Radios with Rechargeable Batteries Due to Chemical Burn Hazard; Sold Exclusively in Toys "R" Us Stores

The recall involves two-way radios with the 300 mah “CEL” batteries. The walkie talkie style radios are made of pink plastic and come in purple packaging. Product number PR191-2VP is located on the front of the packaging and on the label inside the battery compartment. The batteries are standard AAA Nickle Metal Hydride battery cells with a black wrapper with the battery name 300 mah (CEL) with the date code (TF or RF) on the battery itself. Read more.

This recall involves the external power adapters sold with the following DYMO LabelWriter® 400 series printers: DYMO LabelWriter 400, DYMO LabelWriter 400 Turbo, DYMO LabelWriter Twin Turbo, DYMO LabelWriter Duo and DYMO Desktop Mailing Solution with housing date codes 2407, 2507, 2607 or 2707. This recall involves the Duracell 130W Combo AC/DC adapters with model numbers EA10900, AC-6501, and DRUM130 and date codes 0804 and 0805. The black power adapter is used with notebook computers. “DURACELL UNIVERSAL POWER ADAPTER” is printed on the front of the power adapter.
