The recall involves the Nikon rechargeable lithium ion battery pack with model number EN-EL3, which is written on the side of the battery. The batteries are rated at 7.4V/1400mAh, which also is written on the battery. The battery is included as a power source for Nikon's digital SLR D100, D70, and D50 model cameras. The recalled batteries include those with part numbers B-5301, B-5333, B-5340, B-5341, B-5342, B-5344, B-5345, B-5346, B5461, B-5615, B-5896 or B-5942/LI; the lot numbers 10098, 10198 or 10230; and the date codes listed below. The recall involves Li-Polymer battery packs sold with Belkin Bluetooth™ GPS Navigation System models F8T051 and F8T051-DL. The GPS model number can be found on a label on the bottom of the unit. "Part No.: 300-203712001" and Model No.: AE-8210" are written on the side of the battery. Read more.
The recall involves battery packs used with the Mintek portable DVD players with a 7" (diagonal) screen and model number DVD-1710. "Mintek DVD-1710" is printed on the top and bottom of the unit. The DVD player is silver and grey colored and the battery pack is silver with a nameplate on the bottom that is marked RB-LiP01 or RB-LiP02. Read more.
The recall involves AC power adapters sold with Go!Data 3.5-inch IDE external hard drive enclosures. The AC adapters were sold only with the drive enclosures. "PRiver" or "MoreTec" is written on the enclosures. Read more.
The recalled cables typically were installed in data centers and other commercial applications. The part numbers for the recalled cables are 39419-50 (25-pair, category 5e); 30171-100 (50-pair, category 5e); and 30105-50 (25-pair, category 5). Only HCM brand cables with the following lot numbers are affected by this recall: AE589 and A4309 through A5551. The part number and lot number are printed on the jacket of the cables. Read more.
The recalled lithium ion batteries are used with the following computers: 12-inch iBook G4, 12-inch PowerBook G4 and 15-inch PowerBook G4. The recalled batteries include those with model numbers A1061, A1078 and A1079 and serial numbers that begin with HQ441 through HQ507 or 3X446 through 3X510. Consumers should remove the battery from the computer to view the model and serial numbers labeled on the bottom of the unit. No other PowerBook or iBook batteries are involved in this recall.
