The lawn tractors were sold under the Husqvarna, Craftsman, Poulan Pro, Poulan, Weed Eater, Southern States and Murray brand names. Recalled tractors' product, model and serial numbers are listed in the chart below. The recall includes power equipment with Tecumseh engines listed below. The engine model number and date of manufacture (DOM) information is located on a label on the side of the housing. The recalled engines have a date of manufacture code (DOM) that starts with 05241 to 05286. The label on the engine reads, "Tecumseh Power Company," and in addition to the Model and DOM information, lists the Spec number needed for identification. Read more.
The recalled hedge trimmers include model numbers KHT600D and KHT750D. The KHT600D has a 24-inch, double-sided blade, and the KHT750D has a 30-inch, double-sided blade. Both models have a gray handle/frame and a red and gray engine, and they can be identified by the model designation located on a label on the recoil starter. Read more.
These lawn tractors have a 6-speed MST206-545C Peerless transaxle and a 17.5, 18, 18.5 or 19 horsepower engine. The recalled tractor and transaxle model number information is located below the tractor seat (see Figure 1), and on the transaxle housing (see Figure 2). The recalled transaxles have a date of manufacture code (DOM) between 4275 and 5047 followed by the letter "G", which can be found on the Transaxle ID Label (see Figure 3). Read more.
Shindaiwa Gas-Powered Professional Hedge Trimmers are available in both 30-inch and 40-inch sizes. The products have red engine covers, a red fuel cap and a label on the recoil starter that reads "Professional Shindaiwa." The recall includes all single and double-sided gas-powered professional hedge trimmer models DH231 and HT231 with serial numbers 1010000 through 5050000.
