This recall involves Honda HRN216 and HRX217K6 lawnmowers, and GCV170/200 G5B general-purpose engines used in power washers and lawnmower replacement engines. The gas-fueled walk-behind lawnmowers are red and black with "HONDA" written on the clipping collection bag. The model and serial number are printed on a label located on the upper rear of the mower deck. The pressure washer engines are mounted on various original equipment manufacturer frames. The serial number of the engine is engraved on a flat spot on the engine. The lawnmower replacement engines are used to replace the existing engines on the Honda HRN216 and HRX217K6 lawnmowers. October 26, 2023 Kawasaki Motors USA Recalls Engines Used in Lawn and Garden Equipment Due to Fire and Burn Hazards (Recall Alert)

This recall involves Kawasaki engines used in riding lawn mowers sold under the Ariens brand name with mower models IKON, IKON Onyx, and Apex, and under the Gravely brand name with mower models ZT X, ZT XL, ZT HD, and ZT HD Stealth, and under the Husqvarna brand name with mower models TS142TXD, TS242TXD, TS242XD, Z248F, and Z254F, and under the John Deere brand name with mower models Z330M and Z330R, and under the RedMax brand name with mower model RZT48. The recalled engines are model year 2023 FR730V, FR691V, and FR651V. The recalled engine model and serial numbers are located on the engine fan housing. This recall involves Edge, Edge XLT and Wrangler lawn mowers. The red riding lawn mowers have a gray seat with a foam cushion, black arm rests and either black or gray joystick or twin lever steering. "Country Clipper" and the model name appear in black letters on the front under the seat and on the sides of the lawn mower. Recalled Country Clipper model numbers are as follows. September 30, 2014 Husqvarna Recalls Craftsman Push Mowers Due to Injury Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Orchard Supply Hardware (Recall Alert)

This recall involves Craftsman 3-in-1 high-wheel, gas-powered, push mowers equipped with Honda GCV160 engines and a 21-inch deck. The mowers have a black engine control/bail lever, engine shroud and deck with 12-inch rear wheels and a gray cloth clipping bag. The Craftsman logo and "GCV 160" are on the top front of the engine shroud. "Honda" is on the top of the pull cord housing cover. The Craftsman logo is also stamped into the rear discharge chute cover and printed on the sides of the clipping bag. "Dust Blocker" and "EZ Empty Bag" are printed on the top of the clipping bag. The first six numerals of the serial number are the manufacture date in the MMDDYY format. The recalled mowers were manufactured between April 2014 (04xx14) and June 2014 (06xx14). The serial number and model number 384531 are on the data plate on the rear of the mowing deck. Read more.
