Recalls: Heaters or Heating Systems

This recall involves WarmWave and Hunter 18 inch 1,500-Watt Oscillating Ceramic Tower Heaters, under license to Sienhua Group (North America). The heaters are black with an automatic shutoff and two heat settings. The model number HPQ15G-M can be found on the silver ETL label on the bottom of the heater. The heaters are 18 inches tall. This recall involves model SF14TA Smart Thermaflo Bathroom Heater Fans with nightlight manufactured in 2015 and 2016. The fan is a white rectangle about 13 inches wide and 10 inches high with a plastic grill on the front. "Seabreeze International Corporation," SF14TA and date code are on a label on the bottom or side of the fan. Affected units have a date code ending in 5 or 6. Read more.

This recall includes A. O. Smith 30-gallon natural gas water heaters with model number G6-UT3030NV and serial numbers with the first four digits of 1805 through 1809. A. O. Smith, the model number and the serial number are printed on the data plate located next to the gas water heater's control valve/thermostat. A. O. Smith is printed near the top of the water heater. This recall includes 30, 40 and 50 gallon natural or propane gas-fired Ultra-Low NOx emission gas water heaters. They are designed to comply with regulations in certain air quality districts in California, and were sold primarily in California. They were sold under the American, A. O. Smith, Kenmore, Reliance, State, U.S. Craftsmaster and Whirlpool brand names and manufactured from April 8, 2011 through August 1, 2016. Only water heaters with the first four digit serial numbers between 1115 and 1631, where the first four digits represent the year and week of production, are included in the recall. The brand name, model number and serial number can be found on the data plate on the product located next to the gas control valve/thermostat. This recall involves Envi Wall Heaters. The heaters were sold in white and black and measure about 19 inches by 22 inches by 2 inches. The model numbers are located on the back of the unit, on the bottom left corner. This recall involves Vornado Sunny CS (cribside) model EH1-0090 electric space heaters. They were sold in white with an accent of melon and gray colors. The heaters measure approximately 12 inches high, 8 inches deep and 11 inches at the base. The controls are mounted in a soft touch panel on the top of the unit with a multi-color display in the center of the control panel. "Vornadobaby" is printed on the side of the heater. The Vornado logo is printed on the front center of the unit. The model/type "SUNNY CS EH1-0090" and serial number are printed on a silver decal on the bottom of the unit under the elastic cord wrap. The recalled heaters have the numbers 1 and 7 as the fourth and fifth digits of the serial number (XXX17-XXXXXX). Read more.

This recall involves Goodman air handler models AWUF and ACNF (A = Air Handler; W = Wall Mount; C = Ceiling Mount; U = Unpainted; N = Uncased; F = Flowrater). The recalled air handlers are most often installed in apartment and condominium units and are used with heating and cooling systems to provide climate control. The AWUF model units are wall mounted, while ACNF model units are ceiling mounted. The recalled air handlers have serial numbers beginning with 1511, 1512, or 1601 through 1610. This recall involves Amana, Century, Comfort-Aire, Goodman and York International-branded Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps (PTAC), and Amana-branded Room Air Conditioners (RAC). The units are rated 230/208 volt, 3.5 kW and are most often installed through the walls of hotels, motels, apartment buildings and commercial spaces to provide room climate control. The RAC units are installed through the walls or windows of the same types of properties. The recalled units are beige and have serial numbers ranging from 0701009633 through 0804272329. The brand name is located on the unit's front cover. The serial number is located on the label found by lifting the front cover of PTAC units or the grille of RAC units. Additionally, any PTAC and RAC units that have a beige power cord labeled with a four-digit date code in the MMYY format and ending in 06 or 07, or ranging from 0108 through 1808 are included in this recall. Models included in the recall are BAYEVBC15BK1BAA (15 KW Electric Heater) with serial numbers 1447B2BP1X through 1512B2CDDX and Model BAYEVCC25BK1BAA (25 KW Electric Heater) with serial numbers 1503B2AP0X through 1513B2BHXX.
