January 25, 2007 Flojet Recalls VAC Pumps Sold With LeBleu 50-Gallon Bottled Water System for Shock Hazard

The recall involves Duplex II 115 VAC Pumps sold as a component of the LeBleu Automatic 50 Gallon Bottled Water System. Model numbers included in this recall are D08X000A and D08X000B. A silver Flojet label that includes the model number is affixed to the front of the pump. The pumps are installed exclusively in 50 gallon bottled water that were sold, installed and maintained by LeBleu Corp. or its licensees. Read more.


December 21, 2006 BabySwede LLC Recalls BABYBJ�RN® Feeding Spoons Due to Choking Hazard

The recalled feeding spoons were sold under the brand name "BABYBJÖRN," which is printed along the front side of the spoon's handle. The spoons were sold in one package containing two spoons. The spoons are about 6-1/2 inches in length, with a soft, flexible plastic tip sold in two color combinations: blue/red or green/yellow. Read more.


December 19, 2006 Lifetime Brands Inc. Recalls Farberware® Fruit Slicer and Corer Due to Laceration Hazard

The recalled product is the Farberware® Classic Series™ Fruit Slicer and Corer with model number 78350. The model number is written on the packaging. The fruit slicer/corer is an eight-section round metal blade encircled in hard black plastic with two handles. “FARBERWARE” is printed on the top of the handle. Read more.


December 19, 2006 Wal-Mart Stores Inc. Recalls Christmas Mug Gift Sets

The gift sets include a decorated ceramic mug and a stuffed Santa, snowman, or reindeer.  The stuffed characters measure 7-inches tall and are made of fleece-like material.  Two red and green buttons are sewn down the front of the characters.  “©DanDee™ COLLECTOR’S CHOICE®” and the product’s UPC number are printed on the character’s sewn-in labels.  UPC numbers are as follows: Santa 0 47475 45419 8, Snowman 0 47475 45429 7, Reindeer 0 47475 45439 6.  “Holiday Time™” is printed on the character’s hang tag.  The mug comes in three designs and measures 6-inches tall.  The designs include a Santa with green background, a snowman with blue background, and a Christmas tree with green background.   Read more.

November 1, 2006 Atico International USA, Inc. Recalls Espresso Makers for Burn and Impact Injury Hazards

The Espresso Maker has a black base and a silver water reservoir. The coffee carafe is smoke-colored plastic with a back handle. The words "EspressoExpress™" are imprinted on the black base. The item number is W14A7166, which is located underneath the base. Read more.


October 17, 2006 Starbucks Announces Recall of 8-Cup Coffee Brewers Due to Possible Fire Hazard

This recall includes the Starbucks Barista Aroma 8-Cup Coffee Brewer only. "Starbucks Barista Aroma" is embossed on the front of the brewer and the brewer has silver control panel buttons and a chrome finish. The Starbucks Barista Grande 12-Cup Coffee Brewer and Starbucks Barista Solo Coffee Brewers are not included in this recall. Read more.

The FS Flame Switches and FM Automatic Safety Valves being recalled are installed on natural and liquid propane (LP) gas commercial cooking equipment, such as ranges, pasta cookers, deep fat fryers or griddles. The recalled FS Flame Switches were installed on the following commercial cooking equipment brands: Keating (of Chicago), PMI Food Equipment Group, Vulcan, Southbend, Blodgett, Toastmaster, and Wolf Range. The recalled FM Automatic Safety Valves were installed on the following commercial cooking equipment brands: Bari (Restaurant and Pizzeria), Southbend, and Blodgett.
