October 24, 2018 Cub Cadet Recalls Zero-Turn Riding Mowers Due to Fire Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves Cub Cadet model year 2018 RZT SX EFI residential zero turn riding mowers. The yellow, four-wheel mower with steering wheel control is sold with a 42, 46 or 50-inch cutting deck. "Cub Cadet" is printed on the front and sides of the mower, and on the seat's backrest. "RZT SX" is printed below the seat. Models included in the recall are 17AWCBYS010, 17AWCBYZ010, 17RWCBYN010, 17RWCBYN210, 17RWCBYS010 and 17RWCBYZ010 and were manufactured between December 2017 and June 2018. February 8, 2018 Husqvarna Recalls Residential Zero Turn Riding Mowers Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves Husqvarna® and Poulan Pro® brand residential zero turn riding mowers with a Briggs & Stratton twin cylinder engine. They were sold in orange/black and yellow/black colors. On the Husqvarna models, "Husqvarna" is printed on the side of the mowers. On the Poulan Pro models, "Poulan Pro" is printed on the front of the mower. The model number and serial number are printed on the left-hand rail frame in front of the left rear drive wheel. The following models are included in the recall. This recall involves John Deere model 1023E and 1025R compact utility tractors. They are green and yellow with "John Deere" and the model number printed on the hood of the tractor. The serial number is located on the right side of the frame by the front right tire. November 15, 2017 Bush Hog Recalls Riding Lawn Mowers Due to Laceration Hazard

This recall involves Bush Hog Zero Turn Radius (ZTR) HDE riding lawn mowers sold in black with gray wheels and gray rollover protection structures (ROPs). HDE is printed on the left side of the unit beneath the seat. The mowers were manufactured on or before August 4, 2017. The manufacturing date is located on a plate on the right rear frame, underneath the fender. The 15-digit serial number includes the manufacture date in digits 9-11. Recalled mowers have a date code that represents the number of days since the beginning of the calendar year of 001 through 216 (January 1 through August 4). Mowers with a yellow bolt fastening the blade to the spindle have already been repaired. Read more.

January 25, 2017 Country Home Products Recalls Field & Brush Mowers Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

This recall involves the Pro-XL-44 model of the DR® brand tow-behind field and brush mower manufactured by Country Home Products. The mowers are towed behind a riding mower or ATV to clear acres of thick grass and brush. The recalled mowers have an electric start 20 HP Briggs & Stratton engine and a serial number between TB21001001 - TB21002555. The recalled mowers are black and orange and have two blades and four wheels and are 44 inches wide. There is a large label below the machine's fuel tank that with "DR Field and Brush Mower" printed on it and a round DR logo is in the right hand corner. October 18, 2016 Husqvarna Recalls Lawn Mowers Due to Laceration Hazard

This recall involves Husqvarna®, Poulan Pro®, Jonsered®, Craftsman®, Yardworks®, Murray®, and Brute® brand walk-behind gas powered lawn mowers with Briggs & Stratton 7.25 HP engines. They were sold in red, orange, blue and yellow/black colors and have either four similar-sized wheels or two larger rear wheels and two smaller front wheels, a long handle with an operator presence control bar that is pushed down towards the mower handle to start the engine, a mowing deck, and may have come with or without a collecting bag in the rear. The brand names are printed on the mowers, and a Briggs & Stratton logo is printed on the engine shield. The mower model and serial number can be found on the rear of the mowing deck, next to the rear wheel. The following model and serial numbers are included in the recall.
