Recalls: Lighters and Matches

This recall involves Somgem Lightweight Tiny Pinky Pig and Yomin Toilet Lighters. The Somgem-branded lighter comes in the shape of a pink pig with the ignition trigger on the top. The Yomin-branded lighter comes in the shape of a white toilet with a cap on top of the tank and a bottle opener on the bottom of the lighter. The Somgem-branded lighter is 1.18 inches in height and the Yomin-branded lighter is 3 inches in height. Read more.

This recall involves Royal Oak flame saber lighters. The lighters are red with a black-and-gray checkered grip and have a hands-free operation lock. The lighter bears the warning labels, "DANGER: Extremely Flammable, Content Under Pressure" and "WARNING: Only store in locked position" on the sides of the lighter. The "Royal Oak" logo is printed on the front of lighter. Read more.

This recall involves the Scripto® Premium Torch which has a four-position adjustable metal nozzle, adjustable flame, hands free operation lock, black ergonomic non-slip rubber grip, and a metal base with black velvet on the bottom. The UPC number "0-70257-52226-6" is printed on the back of the product box. Read more.

This recall involves Oliva Cigar Nub, Oliva, Serie V and Cain branded cigar lighters given away as a promotional item for free. The recalled lighters have the brand name printed on one side, measure 3" x 1 ½" x ¼" and are white, brown or red in color. Read more.

This recall involves Slim Soft and Slim Jet disposable lighters imported by VPR Brands. The products have "DISSIM" imprinted on one side and are 3.5 inches by 1 inch in size. They were sold in black, blue, clear, gray, red, white, and yellow colors, and have a molded circular grip at the bottom. Read more.

This recall involves two models of the Greenwood-branded propane torches. The torches with no igniter have SKU number 61589 and the torches with a push button igniter have SKU number 61595. The torches have a steel nozzle, a flow valve, a blue grip and a black or orange hose. The SKU number is printed on a sticker located on the pipe that leads to the nozzle on the product packaging and on the manual. Only propane torches that do not have markings on the handles or brass knobs are included in this recall. Read more.

The recalled product is a bronze-colored 3-in-1 flashlight that was distributed as a promotional item for Marlboro brand cigarettes. The flashlight is 4.5 inches long and 1 inch in diameter and has five LED lights. It has a compartment for storing matches and an end cap that has compass in the top. The cap with the compass has a striker pad on the inside. It came with 20 wooden matches and a removable foam insert between the matches and the striker pad. Read more.

This recall involves the Zippo Slatkin & Co. candle lighters with date codes G09 or H09. The lighters are finished in high-polish chrome or white with a chrome nozzle. The lighter uses refillable butane fuel and measures 6.5 inches long and 1 inch wide. The date code is embossed on the black adjuster knob located on the end of the lighter (opposite to the nozzle). “Slatkin & Co.” and “Zippo” are printed on the packaging. “Zippo” is also embossed on the product.
